Daniel so much respect for you . It's impressive to see how much you're still dedicating yourself to improving at poker, and all those hours are definetly paying off. I might be wrong but since dougs challenge you have become way stronger then ever, and i bet you are improving even more. People talk trash about you because they are jealous that you are a face that will be forever in poker hall of fame. Not only that but you are also so fun to have on a poker table. You deserve 100% the success you have through life. Thanks for being such an inspiration for the younger generation !! Keep crushing, wish you the best luck

The closing comments on the flat calling rationale were spot on. In trying to prevent yourself from being exploitable. Flat call and spring the trap. Good move against Tom. He got trapped trying to exploit a perceived weak hand. I think….

You have class while keeping the table fun, and have been a big inspiration with me trying to up my game. I’m so impressed with how you’ve evolved Daniel and how you didn’t get stubborn like most old pros from your time. They rested on the fruits of their labor from that era and didn’t work and study their ass off like you.
You’ve evolved so much that your giving dwan the lesson: AJ off is a pure fold here it’s dominated by all ur value. 10 years ago you were the biggest spot in this lineup probably besides tilly and now I would argue besides Garrett you’re the second toughest player at this table.
A table that includes dwan, ivey and Patrick. The odds I would have had to get 10 years ago on you being the better player than those 3 titans 10 years later would have had to be +15000.
    Bravo Daniel. I’m truly inspired

I like both flatting and 4-bet PF. Without sufficient bluff 3-bet, you don’t have enough board coverage for such a deep stack, so it’s better to have no 3-bet range than having an unbalanced 3-bet range. Once Tom 3-bet, the SPR is small so playing straightforward should be the first option.

    Not an insult:
There isn't much remarkable about this hand except the size of the pot @Daniel Negreanu. Limp 4 bet 2.3x with KK, opponent spikes top top, and has a pot sized bet to your 1/3 C bet.
Amazing analysis of what took place I really appreciate the layers of detail you go into it shows great growth as a player.
Tip: your rapid eyes, heavy chest movement from breathing and the manner in which you check your hole cards are very obvious live tells.

There's heaps remarkable about this hand. Most people would just 3bet patriks iso here with the KK, then AJo snapfolds pre and we get no more money out of him. Now Daniel 4bets a limp raise that could be super strong, making Daniel's range absurdly strong here possibly just KK and AA only. Dwan makes an absolutely horrible call pre here with AJos to Daniel's flat then backraise 4bet. To say there's not much remarkable going on here shows how absolutely clueless you are

They do it as a favour for the one who’s behind to win some of the pot back. So if the pot is 100k, the first run is for 50k and the second is for 50k. It’s a televised show so they don’t really want to bust each other.
