    Candied Jalapeños
    1. Bring 1/3 cup honey to a gentle boil. Simmer over low for 3-5 minutes.
    2. Meanwhile, arrange 2-3 sliced jalapeños in a glass jar. Pour the honey over the jalapeños. Add 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar and a pinch of salt. Let cool. Keep stored in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

You should not put them in the refrigerator until they are completely cool off because the glass jar can break from the temperature difference plus the jar will seal even if they is a bad pepper if you leave it out overnight and the lid doesn't seal you know that there is a bad one somewhere in the jar. Trust me we jar everything we can get are hands on especially tomatos so I really do know just about everything when it comes to jarring. Cooling over night out of the refrigerator to make sure there is no bad peppers also no broken glass jars they really suck to have to clean it up plus you know you are getting cut because of the food and glass the food makes it even more slippery.
