I gotta admit the people talking negatively about the grabber is funny especially when compared to anything else in this price range especially seeing it's 3yrs later.
The titan t1 almost doubles the diving depth of everything under $5k at almost 500ft compared to 300ft or less with other competitors but also check accessory prices for example the t1 arm is only $299 comes with 2 different grabbers vs any of the chase line like v6 or M2 is $799 and each grabber end is almost $300-400 extra but adding bigger thumb screws wouldn't hurt.

I purchased a Titan1 Geneinno but cannot get the camera to work. It worked one time before it went into the water. Someone from tge company sent me some instructions, but the English is poor and hard to follow.
Cool ROV, but with the manipulator, they should have had bigger thrusters, and made the grabber retractable, that way its not a mile away from the cameras

No, the camera is fixed. Moves only with ROV angle

Hi Dustin. I didn’t see the cord to charge it. Duh. I am getting ready to take this out on the lake (on my SUP board) to find my lost go pro and extender pole.
It's a power brick that plugs into where tether connects 🍻

20:20 clearly the crab claw was an after thought. We understand the recreational ROV market is fresh and upcoming. However more and more of us will want these for serous recovery work. These companies need to keep the price point low but also design the crab claw grippers from the inception of the ROV design. We need them to have quick connect systems no different than a tripod QD or typical action camera QD system. Fiddling with tinny machine screws is insanely stupid! Cheers, --> #SeattleRingHunter

You do the compass calibration in app. Go through directions.
thanks for answering me. I really need help. I do all the moves, but without ending with an error. I also can't get it to lock in depth anymore, because when I press the lock key it turns blue, but then it goes out. I always dived with him and everything worked, now he does not calibrate and does not lock at depth.

You should probably contact Geneinno for troubleshooting. Their engineers should be able to help better. I did notice that doing compass calibration is difficult, especially with the grabber arm on 😂. You might try to just move it all around like a sphere when calibrating. I think I had to do that once.

@@DustinDunnill Thank you for your quick reply! I ordered this package and I am so nervous. I lost a GoPro in a lake recently and when I saw this "claw" I thought maybe I could retrieve it. Dustin, I am on a Stand Up Paddleboard. I am very experienced. I am planning on taking my drone and whatever else I need on my board. I assume I will have enough space. I don't need to take the suitcase? I am worried about the iPhone and controllers because they aren't waterproof and I don't want them falling in like the GoPro. Any advice? Excited and nervous.
