    One other feature of Cybershape was mentioned by Truls Möregardh in a CZcams video with Table Tennis Daily. This was subtle but I think very interesting.
    Truls mentioned that he was more conscious of the bat angles because the Cybershape provided a visible reference from the heptagonal corners, especially on backhand stokes.He said he was using this to make a correction if the shot did not work out.
    Perhaps STIGA may use this guide feature in marketing with a learners Cybershape, slower blade.In comparison the standard round curve blades do not have a visible reference point on the edge that the player can orientate themselves, but I guess you could make a mark with marker pen.

    I feel like this might just become something like the Xiom ice cream blades; it is a new invention but eventually will probably eventually die down as just another choice of a blade

    two days since it was launched by stiga, i am very excited to have that blade. Because of my curiosity so I tried to make it with a balsa board. And the results I have tried are very comfortable to use.

    I think its just marketing but nevertheless, I still love the aesthetics of the design. Too bad they don't have off; off+ is too fast for me.

  • @niklaskras5498
    @niklaskras5498 Před 2 lety +9

    The idea is good but probably most of it just marketing. you get nice statistic depending on what you compare it to. but i think it also is bad marketing because the blade is rated off+ but most of the amateur players dont play such fast blades or at least should not play them. so they should just have produced some blades of the same shape with more controlled characteristics

    It's not advantages... Currently there are blades on market with larger sweet spot and with lager hitting area. For example 90% defensive blades are larger.. And still non of offensive players uses that.
    More important is feeling than a shape. And feeling is personal, everyone has different feeling.
