    It is a good thing you lined up with marks cuz there is a balance shaft inside the engine

    To remove rust from tools and chains, I use vinegar and let it soak for 24 hours or more depends on how bad it is. It works great for me.

    Hopefully someone can offer some input, but what is the spout coming off the right side crankcase cover? There also looks like an open hole on top of the cover as well. What are those for?

      There are a couple ports on my case that aren't machined out, I'd assume they'd have been for vents/breathers on different model years and then the other port has a plug in it, again I assume it's a vent or possibly an inspection port.

    I know this video is old.
    But please help me?
    Im rebuilding my motor.
    But i cant really understand how my crank and conrod gets oil?
    I tried to flush my motor but nothings coming out of the drain plug when I insert the fluid to flush.
    So my thoughts went that its a squirter only?(Lubing the crank)

      @@ethan7657 no thats for mixing gas use something like 80W Bel - Ray Gear Saver Transmission oil

  • @chancet.7367
    @chancet.7367 Před 4 lety +1

    Also how did you get the clutch off did you use the tool or what was your specific way cause I don’t have a clutch holding tool

    • @chancet.7367
      @chancet.7367 Před 4 lety

      So I can use just an impact to get the nut off without holding it and then you said pulled too what did you use that for?

    • @chancet.7367

      Puller tool I meant

    • @chancet.7367
      @chancet.7367 Před 4 lety

      And also I’ve been talking to other people about it and they say the only thing a bad seal would cause it an oil leak but I don’t get that cause you already have oil in that case but they say that it’s my carb that cause gas to mix up with the oil already in the crank case

    • @chancet.7367
      @chancet.7367 Před 4 lety

      Where did your trans oil leak from? Also i don’t understand how oil will leak from into the crank case when you already put oil in there on the clutch side.

    • @chancet.7367
      @chancet.7367 Před 4 lety

      I know my oil don’t leak on the stator side like yours did.

    So im currently doing something similar to what you did. I have 2 blaster engines and trying to get one going.. just yesterday I got first start up.. but its smoking white like crazy.. I hear a lot of people say that its a bad crank seal, or a bad case seal between the cases. I lapped the cases and made sure that was fine, but I did not replace any seals other than primary seal.. what I'm trying to understand is that these blasters are not supposed to have trans oil in there(crankshaft). So what lubes that up the crankshaft, piston, and rod? Also gears where shifting good before I put on frame now that I shift while the bike is on they do shift but kinda rough or its hard too,, any idea on that?
    Oh and I've seen your video at least a 2 dozen times, so I would never understand why you said there's oil in crankshaft chamber and y that was bad...

    • @MechannibalGarage65
      @MechannibalGarage65  Před 2 lety

      It's 2 stroke, meaning either it uses the factory oil injection system or you run premix gas. The oil present in the gas is what lubricates the rotating assembly (piston, rod, & crank.) The transmission is supposed to have something like 10w-30/10w-40 wet clutch specific motor oil (usually branded as motorcycle oil)
