  • Again, sorry to say we had some difficulty getting our hands on scarlet hand -- we bought it from amazon, bigfish, and used a disc and none of them worked :(. So I'm afraid we're gonna have to skip that one, for now, and carry on.
    Hope you enjoy this game! We let our dad solve the leaping lizards puzzle. Ik it's super easy but he enjoyed it :)

    So relatable every time she opens the task list and says "can't check that off yet"...

    I remember being SHOOKED to my absolute core when you saw the "ghost". I wasn't able to sleep at all when I first saw it. Now that I see it as an adult, it's not nearly as scary haha. Thanks for uploading this, it's been alot of fun watching this all over again. ☺️

      The ghost is s u c h a cool moment in the game, kinda wish they explored the haunted themes more on the train. Even so, still a fantastic game :)

      @@vote4holt I found out the the ghost of Camille (the lights outside the train) will NOT appear unless you click on the picture of Jake and Camille hanging by the bar in the first railcar by Charlene (9:25)

    Man, the Hardy boys are pretty funny. The 'get my drift' line got an audible laugh out of me.

    Ahh I loved the haunting sequence in this game, just real enough to make you question if what you saw was supernatural

      @@vote4holt I believe there is a conversation you can have (can't remember with who..) but its caused by the heat from train on tracks reacting with minerals in the rocks/ground or something along those lines. :)

    I guess my knowledge of Nancy Drew games taught me stuff because I clicked on the photo that triggers that lights outside the window event in my first playthrough. It was fun seeing that and getting an explanation.

    Thank you for doing this! It's nice to have one of my favorite ND games to relax and reminisce with in the background at home! ^_^

    Steam Locomotives in that era were NEVER ran without a fireman to keep the boiler fed. Guess the research team for this game didn't look too hard.

    I still don't understand the doll thing with the shoes name...how do you know all the names of the dolls?

    • @vote4holt
      @vote4holt  Před 2 lety +5

      Clues are scattered all around the train cars that describe the dolls and give their names, and from there you’re supposed to know all of their first and last initials. Then you must arrange them in the correct order so that their initials spell out the name of Camille’s favorite shoe maker, “Chaussettes Chatoyantes”.
      It’s super convoluted and difficult to figure out but once you know the rules it’s a fun challenge :)
