I was one click away from buying the Amazon Echo the other day. I have a Sonos system at home already, but didn't realise the existence of the Sonos One. After watching your video I'm definitely buying the Sonos One. Your video was so clear and concise. Also, having owned Sonos products for a number of years, the thing that swung it for me was your opinion on the sound quality. Amazon versus Sonos no comparison. Apparently now all new Sonos Ones have the Alexa app built in. Thanks for your brilliant video.

Thanks for this video! Are you able to control soundcloud on sonos one and every other sonos in your house if it's in a group with your voice through alexa (whether it's an external echo dot, or sonos one with alexa enabled)?

How do you set up Sonos which have been set up in your old house to new house? I can’t get my existing speaker set up?
I have 3 Echo premium 4th gen speakers in a multi room setup, I was thinking of adding a couple of Echo Studio speakers as a stereo pair in my lounge but people say the Sonos sound is better.
Do you agree, should I go for a pair of Sonos Ones instead? (its mostly for music rather than home theatre).
Will they integrate fully with Alexa so I can run routines and control my smart home through Sonos?

I want to use Bluetooth to control all my other Sonos Play1 speakers. I only having Playbar instead of one of the other sonos soundbars that have compatible alexa Bluetooth capability i.e. turn volume up or down etc

If I made the mistake of signing in with the wrong amazon account, how do I start over in the Sonos App. How do I reset Sonos and start over in the app. Simply restating. The Sonos device did not work. The app looks for the original device.
Do you know if I’d be able to use 2 Sonos One’s as surround sound with my Apple TV and still use my Bose sound bar that hooked up directly?
No, in order to use the Sonos Ones for surround you have to use the Sonos Playbar for the soundbar.
GeekSmart Thanks for the reply. I meant to ask if I would be able to use Air Play 2 (when it’s released) to connect two One’s to my Apple TV. If so, would I also be able to have sound come out of my hardwired Solo 5?

Hello, my Sonos is not blinking the green light so that it can be discovered, can you tell me how can I do that?
I have just bought one today, I plugged it in and downloaded the Sonos app when I open the Sonos app it doesn't give me the option to set up a new Sonos, just the option to connect to an existing system...Any idea's as to why this is happening.
That usually happens if it’s been previously setup with a different system. You should reset the speaker to factory and then it will allow to setup new Sonia system. Docs have instructions on reset. Usually hold down button while plugging in for 5 seconds

where did you get watch band from and will sonos first gen work in the same way.
Sonos Play One would be some setup, just no Alexa integration. You can control the Play speakers from another Amazon enabled device.
The Watch bad is no longer sold that I am aware of, just a cheap Amazon band (one orange and the other blue).
Hey Geeksmart, my wife has an echo dot, and will send me messages through her app from work. I have the Sonos and it's using GA. If I change it to Alexa, would I be able to send messages from my app while she's at home?

Yes...anything that can be controlled by Alexa can be controlled through the Sonos One

No. Alexa and Google Play are included services in the SonosONE.

I would say that they operate the same way that Amazons echos do, and if you ask a question any speaker that hears you would respond

You can control any Sonos speaker from any Alexa product
I've tried. Can't seem to find how to pair them to play at the same time. Went through both sonos and alexa app and can't seem to find how to do so.
You can't play a Sonos Speaker and a Amazon Speaker at the same time, but you can control it with the Echo Dot. Both are different ecosystems, so even if you could get them to play at the same time, they would be off and it would sound terrible.

i had to exchange it. Works now except when I tell it to play music, it only plays one song. Also when i say pause music, it says it can only that ehen music is playing when it's obviously playing.
Unfortunately if you have Tidal it doesnt work with alexa

Sonos One works with most music subscriptions out there, including Apple Music. However, the Alexa assistant cannot control Apple Music, so you have to use the App

The product itself has amazing sound but it refuses to play non paid subscription radios and doesn't support playing audio of Netflix videos which renders this completely useless to me
