- How to Enable TPM 2.0 on Gigabyte Motherboards - AMD and Intel / Install Windows 11 Requirements
I will show you how to enable TPM 2.0 in BIOS. In this video we are looking at the gigabyte BIOS.
Windows 11 CPU Support
Intel: bit.ly/2UiX5bG
AMD: bit.ly/3y8d7n6
TPM Modules provide a higher level of security. Most motherboards with newer generation CPU's have TPM integrated in them. You can activate TPM through the BIOS without a Module however you need to make sure it conforms to the TPM 2.0 standard to allow windows 11 to be installed on your system. - Věda a technologie
Clear and direct video. You deserve a lot of praise for keeping this video free of fluff and making it accessible to a broad audience!
Bro please explain me can i enable TPM 2.0 without TPM module
After a lot of stupid tutorials and videos on different sites.. finally a to the point solution.. Thanks for this video it helped me make my pc compatible for win 11...
Glad it helped!
No kidding!
@@RollwithPunch can i do it without the tpm socket or not because im using a b450m ryzen cpu
Agreed. It was a pain in the butt before I found this video
@@RollwithPunch when will Windows 11 Be available on Desktop?
Thank you so much for a clear and simple video for this! Finally a video that is just straight and to the point, no fluff. And it worked perfectly!
Agreed, thank youuuu
No cap... straight to the point!!! hats off brother
For those who has the intel motherboard and doesn’t see the PTT option, it should be the the one that says “AMD CPU fTPM” and enable it. It should work the same way just in a different name. Thanks for the video since I couldn’t find the exact one I was looking for before👍🏼
Thanks for the info!
thank you so much
Thank you!!!!
Mine doesn't have that
@@rejecht_3042 same, did you find a fix?
One of the best examples of how an informational video should be created. You might not yet be old enough to drive, but your creativity, intellect, and maturity surpass most on CZcams. Thank you!
I can drive but thank you :D
@@RollwithPunch I was just kidding with you. You're very young looking, but I suspect college-age... 🤔
@@WafflerMark Hahahah I know, still wrong though 😆
2years later still works, thanks you. Hope you channel get the attention it deserve :D
Thank you so much brother. Been reading weeks of half assed can’t be bothered tutorials while you solved in 5 minutes!
Great info. I have both AMD and Intel systems. This saved me a few minutes of hunting around. 👏
Thank you so much for this video. Quick and easy way to enable it for both platforms. Needed this to download windows 11.
Dang, this was super helpful, fr fr. Even my UEFI said no TPM found, but that step of enabling the Intel Security first and saving and restarting and BOOM. TPM 2.0 was hiding on the board the whole time. Thank you dude.
For some reason my motherboard bios is a hybrid of these two, I can't find anyone on the internet with the same thing. But this is the first video to be close enough to my bios to help me. Thank you!
The CPU setting for me was in the cpu advanced tab. Gigabyte x570 ultra.
Great tutorial man. Straight to the point, easy to understand and follow instructions
Anyone here because of valorant?
Yes, had a lot of questions on this
Yes
Yes
Yes
No I just need to update
Couldn't find one for the AMD video till I found this one love you man
Mate, thanks a lot. I had to reset my PC and it wouldn't let me install windows 11 again and had no idea how to get it back. After months and months. This worked like a charm. Thank you!
THANK YOU!!!
You're welcome!
Thank you so much! Super helpful walkthrough. helpful people like you are rare nowadays 👍
You're very welcome!
Watched countless videos and finally came across this one. Lifesaver. Thank you
Thank you, literally scoured the windows pages for hours and stumbled across this blessing of directness.
Glad this helped!
Thanks! Already found and activated on the PC I bought from you guys. Thanks again for getting it to me on my birthday!
Glad we were able to help!
You just earned a sub, like, and comment because of how clear and concise your directions were. Thank you sir!
I DID IT FINALLY AFTER 10 VIDEOS AND 3 HOURS!!! THANKS DUDE
Thank you! This was so easy opposed to all the articles I had been looking at.
BEST VIDEO! Very clean and specific. Thanks to this guy I can now upgrade to Windows 11. Thank you!!!!
Glad it helped!
Great information! Thank you for a great clear step by step tutorial.
You're very welcome!
tried 10+ ways, but your video gives clear clarity
HAHAH that makes me happy! Glad it helped!
awesome video man. I ironically have done tpm setup before but its been so long i legit forgot. this helps a lot
Glad it helped!
Worth noting that this how things are organized in the BIOS for AORUS-branded Gigabyte boards only... My "regular" X570 Gigabyte board had the TPM settings organized under "Peripherals."
Where can I find peripherals? I can’t find either
Thanks for the help very rare I find solutions on CZcams good to see someone who knows what there doing for once genuinely helping instead of some idiot who uses text and slideshows for tutorials that ultimately waste your time as so quote solution
Holy shit I have been looking forever for an explanation thank god I found this video, absolute legend!
Thank youuuuu
Searched all day to find this
Glad I could help
I don't know how Microsoft expects people to upgrade when Windows Update never presents them with the upgrade option if the TPM is off. That's going to be the case for a lot of DIY PC builders who just had it off lol. Great tutorial
My "SRMN" notice just happened, so obviously a new "upgrade" came and downloaded and forced the notification. My computer is only 10 months old, so Windows implanted some new software on my computer that needs this TPM working. Windows is really an awful operating system and has made no major improvements for 15 years.
My intel looked exactly like his Amd version lol, great video. I had no idea why my new 3k computer wouldn't support windows 10. Thanks!
Same HAHAHAHAHA
Thank you! Having fits trying to figure this out until I found your video! What a relief. 🙂
Duuuuudee after checking so many videos and not working for some reason, your tutorial really helped me out enabling TPM 2.0, great tutorial ^_^
This was a really well put together video, thank you for your explanation of everything. You really helped me to understand what I needed to do and the difference between a physical module and AMDs integrated system.
I'm so glad!
This was extremely fast and simple. Love it.
no idea why i couldn’t run tpm on my computer then saw this tutorial and relieved all stress THANK YOU
Thank you so so much been looking around for hours
Thank you so much for making such an easy to understand video. I have a GIGABYTE B460M DS3H V2 motherboard and I was confused how will I enable software TPM 2.0. My bios looks like the AMD version of the Gigabyte Aurous Bios.
Glad I could help!
same
Thank you, thank you, thank you. After so much searching and wasting time on Microsoft sites also my year old pc supplier with zero success it was great to find you with a simple and easy to follow explanation. Now have TPM2 enable after following your video guide. One very minor gripe in having to sit through the irrelevant AMD stuff before you got to Intel but when you did it was so easy to see where all the changes were needed. ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED. 😁👍
A very straightforward video with clear instructions. Thanks a bunch
Thanks so much man, the last part of the video really helped on getting 2.0
no chip needed!
Goodluck in your journey.
You're welcome!
Great video! However, strange choice form Microsoft to make the upgrade to Windows 11 so complicated for a lot of people.
Thank you soooo much!!!!
Glad it helped!
Me as well haha
@UCNp7F6I6dRHeBs31DVPwVGw You should be fine, I suspect the yellow CPU means it's an older generation and something newer is recommended. Should still work though.
finally a video straight to the point. Thank you
Thank you for this video. I was stuck on the intel system because I did not know I had to enable PTT
NOTE: Pin Configuration - the pin config is an indication of whether the TPM is a GC-TPM2.0_S 2.0 or SPI-TPM - only the compatible one will fit the Header of the Motherboard (Check first before purchase) User Manual will give you a "brief" description.
Thanks mate, bloody Intel with the different name was making me confused
Yes same with me
But this youtube guy helped me to do that
Thanks a lot. I had the Gigabyte AMD bios and "enabling the TPM" setting worked perfectly. Got rid of the "SRMN" notice on my desktop Win 11. Bravo.
Glad it helped
You are an absolute host I tried everyone’s videos and everyone’s forums and you showed intel and amd hugeeee help thank you
If you have a cheaper gigabyte board, the option for Intel will be listed under settings. Just follow the steps for AMD in this video, but instead of TPM is called PTT.
Thank you for the helpful advice!
@@RollwithPunch No problem, thanks for the great video.
Thanks ..thats what i was looking for .
What settings is it found in lol
This video saved me an enormous amount of time and effort, thanks for making it clear, easy to follow, and direct!
You really saved me here. I almost bought a new motherboard BECAUDE I couldn’t figure it out!😊
Oh man! Respect. Searching had me ultra confused until I watched this. Cheers
