I have separate small table categories. I want main table pivot slicer list to have this independent data. This is static list or table . Any idea how to?

Hi @pragnagodavarthi
Slicers are new from 2010 version of Excel. In 2007 or older versions you can't insert slicers.
In Excel 2010 you can apply slicers to Pivot Tables, Power Pivots and Pivot Charts.
From Excel 2013 version onwards you can apply slicers to Format tables along with Pivots & Power Pivots & Charts.
Thus You have to update your excel to newer version.
