- My entire playlist of Excel tutorials: bit.ly/tech4excel Learn how to use Excel slicers to filter out data that you temporarily don't want to see in your Excel spreadsheets. This is a lesser-known, but very useful, feature that you'll find yourself using more and more. ***Consider supporting Technology for Teachers and Students on Patreon***: / technologyforteachersa... I've been looking around for office tutorials and so far your channel is the best, thanks !!!
Thank you! Your videos are very useful!
Hi,
Thank you for the video. It's very informative,
Is there a way to show the data label on a chart only when one single button on a slicer is selected/clicked?
If filter is cleared on the slicer, I don't want the data level to be displayed as it will get clumsy.
This page is the most user friendly account for those who are not really tech savvy. Thank you so much👍👍
Awesome, super clearly explained, thank you!
Hi there, thanks for showing this as this helped me with my ict course work and I had no idea how to do it but with your video, I know now.
Crystal clear explanation!
Thank you!!
Thanks for sharing it in a precise way.
Hello, CTRL+CLICK on the 2d, 3d, etc..., label in the slicer is doing the job. SHIFT+CLICK will select a range of labels in the slicer.
Nice and clear presentation. Love it. ❤❤
Simple and short, Thank you!!!
One of the good lessons...thank u.
You make this easy to learn...thank you
I'm in 'lockdown' & came across this
I don't know if I will ever use this, however, it looks to be a useful feature and you presented it very well indeed.

I see you cannot add anymore data to the Table at this point, but i love learning this user friendly trick. I could implement this, then lock the sheet for protection, before sending out. Thank you.

Hello, I think, you may forget to zoom out during your demo, please check it from 02m 45s, you call functions which are not seen in your screen. Anyway, I am a big fan of your tutorials. Excellent job!
Nice video
What excel version did you use? Thank you.
Nice video dear friend
By this slicer mean multiple filter step wise
M i right?
Is there anyway to use Slicer to filter the data per week? Showing records which is created weekly?
Hello, With the slicers of a pivot table, I can't keep the format (example wraps)
As soon as I click on another segment, there is no more wrapping and the box is unchecked ...
Cool!
Great video! One of the easiest!
Glad you think so! Thanks for watching my videos and supporting the channel. I really appreciate it!
You zoomed in too far and we can't see some of the screen, or what you are clicking on, on the left side 🤷♀️.

How to delete slicer box and if we want a new slicer and delete old one
hi sir actually the practice file link is not working can you please check?
The B-E-S-T!!!!
I tried to do but without pivot am not getting insert slicer, once converting into pivot then only I can get slicer can you help me without pivot how do I can get slicer
I’m having the same issue. Did you figured out? The only way I get slicer is through pivot table
I don't have the "design" option. Can anyone explain why?
💛💛💛💛💛
But this slicer option not working in my Excel sheet
too much informative
Date slicers are the sexiest thing alive
IM UPDATING THE DATA STILL NEW DATED NOT SHOWING WHAT IS THE REASON
I am still unable to insert Slicer despite clearing all extra things you mentioned here. Still inactive. What could be the reason plz
Thanks for sharing 😠
It seems like Slicer is even more useful than filter, I thought Filter is the only way to sort data from different categories.
And I didn't know you could use slicers on regular tables thought they were only available on pivot tables!
Part 2 for charts
I have to press enter to filter it again
I don’t know why I can’t click on the slicer it’s blank,I have made a table already can you tell me why… thanks 😩
2:53 make a table
3:11 table design > slicer
Seems like a more user friendly way of filtering by using buttons as filters. Still pivot tables are superior
1:14 2:45 3:25
Slicers start at the damn halfway point 3:32
why zoomed in?
it starts at 3:30 ....
Hindi m koni bolig k ghone
you dont know even how to manage the page size on the video.
Crystal clear explanation!
Thank you!!
Great job.
Keep it up
