Sandringham CAMC - The King was here for our first trip out of the year

- What a lovely weekend for our first trip out of the year. We went back to The Sandingham Estate CAMC site and The King, Queen Consort and Princess Anne were in town. We learned later that The Prince of Wales was there too.
In this video we show you around the site and take a walk to Sandringham and a trip to Hunstanton & the nearby Norfolk Lavender Farm at Heacham. This place is worth a visit at any time of year, but especially in the Spring & Summer.

Love them or hate them .. there's no denying thay make England's history interesting , and generate meany time's more in the tourist sector than thay receive from the royal gift...thay are custodian's of many of the countries finest art collections and estates that thay hold in trust for future generations ,that if thay weren't under their protection would have been sold off to the highest bidder and in private ownership decades ago...in a time that meany of us think of our selves as European thay are a constant reminder that infact we're British!!.💕🇬🇧🇺🇦

Very envious, Sandringham has always been a must visit site for me but it's a very long haul for us. Hoping to get away in a couple of weeks time for a short weekend somewhere.

Just awaiting delivery of our new van in april. I constantly watch your channel for tips and love watching your trips too. We live in norfolk so are looking for a close to home first trip. Feeling nervous but excited as new to caravanning. Sandringham is definately on our go to list. 😊

Great start to the year 😊. We are booked in for aug bank holiday this year. Really looking forward to it now. Looks like we will be visiting plenty of places. Looks a great site we have looked at that one in the book. Keith and our son are outside cleaning the caravan son up ladder doing roof. Our 1st trip nxt week to Lady Margarets Park in Chirk. Just had big refurb new toilet block serviced pitches ect. Carn't wait. Xx

Just watching your video. Showing your route going through Acle. My wife's cousin lived there who we often visited. Loved her accent. Remember her asking me if I wanted another sawsage. Hi David, we were in Acle today (10 miles from home) Norfolk is lovely but we’re heading back to Derbyshire soon with the caravan. I know Sutton in Ashfield, not far from Mansfield. Hi Helen & Martin, we're on the same page, Sandringham is great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately the Bablingley Social Club do not allow dogs inside but there is a good outdoor seating area that the dogs are welcome in which will be great in the summer but it is right next to a busy main road, so extra care required.
