2006 is a surprisingly good year for rock especially metal. Like none of the 2000s have had such a rock representation yet

I remember dealing with a lot of disposable ringtone rap around this time, which just made the hip-hop albums on this list all the more special to me, ESPECIALLY Donuts
glad people put respect on back to black it’s one of the greatest pop albums of the 2000s
I recently bought a cd copy of Back To Black. Can't wait to listen to it. Plus, the biopic is coming out soon as well!

Once again, RYM continues to underrate Lupe Fiasco. You can't tell me Food & Liquor shouldn't be on here.
"Food & Liquor" wasn't too far from making the list! It was #40 on the 2006 list with a 3.73/5.00 average with over 6k ratings. The song "Kick, Push" also made it on the best singles list that I just uploaded!
Ys might actually be the best album ever in terms of storytelling and lyrics

It seems that there were some good rock albums for 2006, but two of my personal favorites weren't mentioned: Testify by P.O.D. and Cut & Move by Day of Fire (for reasons I assume few can guess)
