Castle elite is meta changing
An even more advanced pro tip for kapkan... barricade the door after putting a trap at the bottom corner of the door, and melee the barricade once, high on the other side of the barricade. Attackers will be so focused on the hole, looking for peeks, they'll totally forget to check for traps after breaking the barricade.
They could just vault the barricade and skip the Kapkan trap even if they don’t know

@@scoutphillips9201 yes if a barricade is hit twice, you can vault the barricade causing you to step over the Kapkan trap if it’s placed low

Plus it hides the trap with the broken frame
Bigger tip with warden, extend site and play slightly aggro with warden. When they flash dont just use the gadget, use it and push that pesky ying. 9/10 times if your crosshair placement is solid, you WILL decimate their whole team with a "wtf???" moment. I use this in diamond and above and it almost never fails
Tip I'd give for rook is to actually spend about the first 5-10 seconds of a round putting your armor in a Safe location. Some operators just don't have the time to pick their armor up in prep phase, so if you spawned somewhere dangerous like next to a window, those players will lose out on their armor unnecessarily.

Maestro tip: the glass has to be smacked, the casing can be smacked without consequence. If you are on an evil eye (even dead or not maestro), you should turn the camera to safety if you see an attacker going in for a melee (i.e. turn to face a corner or straight up where the glass is out of reach)

@@Dctctx you couldn't crack glass by melee 'years' ago. Being able to turn evil eye direction as other defenders is relatively new too. It's a good tip.
@@Levita_ I was referring to people would turn it to avoid it being shot and destroyed. Same concept.
@@Dctctx well it's still only breakable by explosives/The Hammer™, and it's only a relatively recent patch that you can freely move Maestro cams around after death if you're not Maestro, not to mention it's one thing to Avoid it getting shot, it's another thing to Avoid a melee

Also, I appreciate your content so much. It keeps me from overthinkin crap and pulls me back into my flex roll. Your wamai clips have me maining wamai on kafe and theme and sometimes other maps. Hes so useful as a flex/ site extended player with the MP5. And the AUG if I need to play aggressive for picks
Cav tip: silent step blocks out jackal tracking
As an ex-valk main, the tip is very good. When I place cams, I use a sort of eagle view, I look at the most common paths in the room that enemies take and I put cams in places where you have to look up or down and out of the way while being in the open to get rid of them. I see a whole lot of "valk mains" that just throw cams in the most common site entrances and then sit on them the entire round even when we have dead teammates and we need flank watch cams and such instead of a cam on a door that someone's already watching.
My trick for alibi roam is put 1 in objective, and keep 2. When people start to push you, back off the peak slightly and throw down a prisma, especially if its facing away from the attacker ive noticed they are more likely to shoot it
Another tip for oryx, if your pushing up stairs, dash at the last second. People will usually be looking on the corner not above
Good tip of frost or kapcan, if you know the first location on the spawn locations for attacker, go to where they are most likely to enter from that spawn point and trap it up and leave
you can put thorn traps in the floorboards like you showed for mozzie it makes it hard to shoot them
As a pro, you know more than most. So to get more legs out of this (potential) series, I suggest doing what you just did, but according to rank.
More “content”/ miles for the same product. Get those views up so if you leave pro, you have another option of a viable out.

With ADS's put them near CLAWS and BANDITWIRES if you can as well guys! And wamai try to put them in line past 5 meters or so away from shocks and jammers to protect them over distance and drag stuff AWAY from ADS's and denial.

Coordinating your Thorn traps with Melusi, Frost, Lesion or Clash can help get some free kills on the map as well
Same with kapkan you can put your thorn on the other side of a kap trap and they won’t even look for traps and just run away from the thorn most times threw the doorway into the kap traps
Another Vigil tip is that you don't HAVE to roam far! Staying in or near Obj w/ your jammer can slow the enemy as they try to gauge your position!

Bonus Tip for Alibi: You can shoot out soft floors/carpets with soft floors to place your gadget inside of the floor.
Do you need to angle the way it deploys to be parallel to the girders in the floor as well, or does it just ignore those?
@@pitchblendeprotogen the gadget needs to deploy on top of the bars or in between them but enough so that the projector can actually work
This is actually really cool to see, a lot of it I already could figure but the rest was cool
A tip I actually just learned is you can combine Goyo and Kapkan traps
For Castle not only does the 8 punches get you out faster but it will surprise them if they break it sooner.

The way i use kapkan is i use the trap to force the enemy into a worse position so either they take damage form the edd or they go to s spot where they are easy to shoot and kill so I'm basically forcing them to peek so they die easier
ever since i subscribed my gamplay has improved massively

I plant both echo drones in the same room on opposite sides and then spam all four onto the intruding group at once and call it out at the same time

also maestro cams can be placed behind hard walls with no bandit/kaid and then shoot the utility like fuze, thermite, and other breachers

cav is really silent so abuse that, sprinting is really quiet while in silent step so flanking is realy easy, while out of silent step crouch walk or walk slowly until it recharges. Rat near common entry points for a free kill/interrogation and run away if discovered by an enemy
shotgun is good since you'll usually get really close to enemies, which is great 👍
I came here for the kaid claw thumbnail and realized I got baited bc you didn't show it being thrown out the window, just showed the okay drawer placement
oryx tip this works better in lower ranks but if you hear someone crouch wslking to a door get beside it and when the walk through ush remah dash to stun and melee another thing if you hear a sheild you just won the lottery
I like to throw alibies on windows so if they shoot the window they get pinged and when they vault in they get pinged

In my opinion your Thorn tip is terrible, the attack can just walk past the vast majority of traps you place.
I think Thorn traps are best placed in areas behind cover where attackers must commit to get into a safe place. Windows into site where people like to hop in and plant are really good places. Eg Theme park drug lab, Border also has alot of spots too.
The thorn traps go off and they are either forced to retreat or push further than they initially intended putting them at a disadvantage. If they don't decide quick enough you'll get a free kill.
Everything you said can work, I think both ways are fine. As long as the trap isn’t hard to shoot, players can get as creative as they want.
@@AthienoR6my problem with Thorn is that i find her extremely situational.
I guess my way of using Thorn, tho effective can be improved with more variety.

Omg yeah your totally right, I imagine a trap at the plant spot next to double window on top floor Oregon is very difficult to deal with as an attacker
@@ej8455 earlier today I was playing around with her on oregon top floor. I put on in the closet (which i think got a kill) I placed one top main (inside the hallway bedroom wall opposite armory) i think the last i put in a hole in the floor in games to cover plant and the run in if they open the wall.
Using the Mozzie trick, shooting out the floor and placing them in the floor I believe would be very effective.
