- Deep down, we all want to be trendy. We all want to be stylish. We all want to show off our latest, trendiest designer handbags. And more often than not, our budget is not on par with this desire - which inevitably leads us to embrace the super fakes. But, is it really the only option out there to keep up with the trends? Are we obliged to the super fake handbags?

The criticisms of superfakes are also applicable to authentic ones: shoddy craftsmanship, low quality materials, labor exploitation.
Exactly! As if big fashion brands were never, ever sued for tax fraud, poor labour conditions, etc. Actually, that has happened to many of them
THANK YOU SO MUCH. I'm so happy someone said it!! People wearing Nike shoes want to look down on my super fake bag? Get real! 🤣
Here's a fact I know when I visit Bali: they price it higher for foreigners and domestic tourists, but lower for locals (usually tourist spots), so I usually go in*preluxscom* Go shopping.
My dad has been telling me my whole life "Baby, you don't get or stay rich by spending money you don't have to." So *hotdups* are my go-to.
100% ~ Designer bags have now become low quality but with sky high prices.
It’s one thing to purposely buy a super fake, but a whole other level of fraud when people are tricked into believing they are buying the real thing.
Usually you can tell something is fake by the price. So if it is cheap then it is probably a fake.
@@YingjunRuan-hd6em Sure, I’d assume anyone watching this channel would know that, but there are people that just don’t know. It’s a brand name they’ve heard of, though not truly familiar with, and the price is much higher than any bag they have ever bought, so it seems reasonable to them they might be getting a great deal. I see this a lot when buying consignment/resell.
I live close to the Mexico border. I always go for*preluxscom* ,their quality is great. Some of them are made with leather and really hard to tell the difference from real or not. Either way, it’s your choice. No judgement from me.
My dad has been telling me my whole life "Baby, you don't get or stay rich by spending money you don't have to." So *hotdups* are my go-to.
Some superfakes actually use not just fabrics that mimic leather but actually sometimes the real leather type used by the brand, like using top grain or Togo leather to mimic Hermes. And not only that, the Hermes super fakes sometimes are stitched with the same saddle stitch technique. Those super fakes are what the rich ladies in NY are buying.
And they’re not cheap either. A really good super fake Hermes bag is like $1000+
all of my reps are leather and look/feel the same as the OG. Superfakes are just a term resellers use to mean grade A lmao
$20,000 to $30,000 can help shelter and feed homeless families. Why waste so much money? *hotdups* is your right choice
I prefer to have no designer bag than to wear a fake one.
Agree.
@@BuyLessJessMe too.
So a "fake" designer handbag is not a bag?
@@YingjunRuan-hd6em It's a "fake" bag, and it's illegal.
@@CandiceDisalvo I agree, the price increase is unacceptable anymore.
I started buying designer bags for my wife and researched a lot of brands , no need to buy for thousand’s when there are loads of quality products from reputable companies that look just as chic and luxurious than the over expensive ones , but of course if it has to be a Chanel or Hermes than that’s what you pay
The sad part is even when I buy authentic bags someone because I am African American will assume it’s fake. But some people think the bag I bought from *hotdups* is genuine.
Love the fake bags. They are made just a beautifully and it’s just a pocketbook that shouldn’t costs 10,000 or more anyway
I prefer investing in vintage, pre-owned luxury handbags with unique character and timeless design over purchasing poorly crafted counterfeits that are easily identified as fakes. 👜
I prefer investing in a replica that is 1:1 with the orginal that I can resell for a profit of a few hundred once I am done with it.
Buying the authentic or not, it only shows how much markup these conglomerates are charging you to fund their vip/ influencer trips and campaign if a fake can be 99% identical .
Whatever the reason, my point is: nothing is worth ten thousand dollars. The end of the story. I will continue to purchase my *hotdups* bags.
Before I was able to afford luxury, the only bag I owned and bought was a large Longchamp le Pliage that I used for everyday. My sisters gifted me a Coccinelle bag for the evenings or nice events. Those were my only bags for long time, until I built my career and savings/emergency funds, etc. I don't see the appeal in owning a fake, I don't care about being seeing with a designer bag. If I know I am carrying a fake, I would feel like I am lying.
I own a mix of both authentic and fake bags and the material and craftsmanship of the fakes is improving and surpassing that of the original ones. I bought an authentic Fendi and the material is horrendous, it broke quickly €1000 down the drain
Where do you source your fakes from? Can you please share details.
Any contact number?

No logo for me, just good quality. But if I was into logos, I would definately consider super fakes because the quality is the same but so much cheaper.
The quality is not the same. I have had a few super fakes and I have many authentic bags. The quality of fakes is not even remotely the same as the quality of authentic bags. They are made with cheaper materials.
For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I would be happy to have the *hotdups* as my travel bag and not have to take care of it. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
Designer handbags costing $20 000 are the real criminals. Go the superfakes. The bag main function is to carry things. Designer handbags costing $20 000 should be illegal.
Omg I agree ❤
Some super fakes are better quality than the originals too 🤦♀️
Why should it be illegal? It's not criminal, it's business. Any business can charge whatever they want for their goods and services. No one is forcing anyone to pay for those goods and services. It's funny that you're saying that's criminal, while telling people to buy fake bags. I have nothing against fakes, but after having one once and feeling like a fraud, I'll never carry a fake again.
@@totesgene Buying fake designer bags is a F-ck you to all these designer brands that are ripping us off.
I love the design, but I don't have the budget. So I bought the*preluxscom* bag. Made from high quality legal snakeskin made by local Indonesian artists. From now on I never want to buy any luxury goods.
Not all super fakes are equal. The terrible labour, the inferior craftsmanship, the cheaper materials, don't belong in the super fake category. A 500 USD replica Birkin is not the same as a 1000+ USD Birkin, and it's exactly the said differences that set them apart.
Actually, they are all produced in the same factory. Sometimes the quality of counterfeit goods is much better than that of genuine ones: *hotdups*
There's no proof on the organised crime stuff. Autumn Beckman has tried looking and can only find rumours so the brands might've started it and be playing or making both sides.
Agree that the answer is to have your own style and not follow the same handful of top brands. Lots of great designers making interesting bags with great quality out there.
I would rather buy preloved or vintage bags than buy counterfeits.
Honey I second that motion. This or mid range luxury which has excellent quality 👜🛍

@@DerekBarrett-zo8ub BAHAHAHA. Darling, if you paid $100 you got a piece of crap!
While I understand the legal aspects such as IP infringement, I personally question how comparable replica factories are to factories of fast fashion brands. So many people purchase from brands such as Zara, H&M, Mango, Primark, and Shein, which haven't had the best track record in terms of appropriate working conditions, but then turn around and talk about how unethical it is to purchase replicas. In addition to this, I've heard a lot about how the quality of high-end replicas surpass the quality of authentic goods, which should never be the case. I also think that people should shift from only talking about replica apparel and put more emphasis on the dangers of replica cosmetics and perfume. While the market for those products may not be as large as replica handbags, it's still circulating and may even end up being sold to unsuspecting buyers.
the people producing these fakes are the vip clients of these luxury brands! they buy the new season
items then copy or replicate them in their factories.
Superfakes should be made legal. Legalizing superfakes would ensure safer imitation bags are made while ensuring people who are making these bags are employed. And have a living wage. And the genuine bags are sold at much cheaper prices. Making the bags much more affordable. Legalizing superfakes would also put an end to using superfakes to hide funds obtained from other illegal activities.
So if you worked really hard to create something, putting a lot of time, effort and money into it, you'd be ok if I stole your design and sold it for 1/10th of the price? Come on!
The term superfake is a marketing scam used by resellers, they are just AAA grade replicas. That is how the industry calls top quality replicas. If its called a "superfake" you are getting ripped off
The Reality:
The replica market is literally just Chinese manufacturers and distributors, there's nothing sinister. Its completely similar to the way anything is manufactured and sold in China. They pay their workers wages similar to any other manufacturing position. It is ridiculous to say that we are hurting luxury brands, they have been abusing their customer base with price increases and decreasing quality standards for many years. Almost all luxury designers fall under 2 parent companies anyway at this point, so who are we hurting? I wear my replicas into all the most prestigous stores; I only receive compliments and ass kissing for a sale. I check to make sure they are indistinguishable, and no one has ever even hinted at them being fake. I'll proudly tell anyone my bag is fake, I'm not the sucker who will pay $10k for a Chanel lol. When I tell people my bags are fake, they always thinks its super cool and want to find out how to get one.
I rather carry something vintage authentic than to carry a fake.
No fake goods. I love real designer goods or just regular quality goods. I can't relate.
No need to buy fake LV when there is so many grate companies that make grate bags for much lessc…
I’ve considered super fakes to buy cheap luxury materials , such as coated canvas and nylon styles. Simply because the prices and low quality of luxury brands boggle my mind. On the one hand I don’t have to feel guilty for buying very expensive fashionable junk…but then I know myself, and can’t bring myself to wear fake.
Super Fake Are Not For Me I’m Super Excited To Shop And Buy My Dream Bags…
For me the fascination of luxury fashion and lately handbags is mainly the craftsmanship and timeless design. Like what makes a piece timeless and how material, proportions and accessories create a cohesive design.
That’s why I learned how to make these things myself. I thought a lot about it and I own a few second hand mid level luxury pieces (which have been worth their money) but the current prices are simply not worth it anymore. At a 3000€ price point for a bag, I can take the time out of my day to work on a piece and buy materials and still have some of that 3000€ left.
I don’t plan on selling any of the inspired pieces I make and I won’t buy a fake, it’s against my morals but I also don’t want to contribute to these companies success.
Surely they're so different from originals that discerning ladies immediately spot them.
In EU, if the merch has a label but it's a counterfeited label, you, the owner might need to pay a big fine, like thousands of euros).
I wonder how that can happen, technically. Imagine, one day I walk down the street somewhere, say, in Amsterdam. A policeman stops me: "Ma'am, may I see the label of your bag, please? I suppose it might be counterfeit. Oh, unfortunately, it is - here's your 10K euro fine!" 😅 Is it real? Can I just tell him to keep his hands off my bag? 😂
@@mariad.b.6344 It was a bad fake, some time ago they'd just put Gucci or Dior on any bag, even when they weren't even remotely looking like the label. It was a German woman who bought such Gucci bag and paid 2000 EUR fine, something like 15 ys ago.
I am bit confused in general about fake designer bags. I would think this problem could be avoided if you order directly from the source of the brand you are interested especially regarding the higher end stuff or a reputable 3rd party seller (like Neiman Marcus or Nordstrom) of those goods.
getting aaa grade quality bags is actually pretty difficult, especially if you aren't very expirienced or don't live in china lol
This video is very manipulative. It puts the blame on consumer of fakes, while ignoring the real roots of the problem:
1) consumerism - everyone is pressed to buy more
2) very fast changing trends, supported by fashion brands
3) shady business practices, used by brands only a bit less, than by producers of fakes (remember, Dolce & Gabbana were on trial for tax fraud?)
4) Bad economy, especially affecting the middle class
5) Environmental issues - are you serious? There are oil spills in this world, as well as fast fashion industry, fast food industry, etc. But, of course, it's my fake or real handbag that should be perceived as a crime against the environment! Just next to my tampons, I suppose. Please, leave women alone and notice the elephants in the room.
6) Health risks - mentioning them is pure misleading. I don't normally lick my bags! I also never eat them, don't cook food ibside them, almost never smell them and definitely not inject them internally. Stop fear mongering, get real!
7) Fashion brands losing their income, because people by fakes instead of the real things: nope, people who buy fakes or superfakes do so, because they cannot afford the real ones. So, no lost income here. If anything, buyers of fakes provide free advertising to the brands (and maybe it's time they start charging them for it, he-he).
You have way more critical thinking skills and intelligence than half the internet these days. Great comment 👏
Thank you, @@notme1255😊
I suppose, the last part of the comment was lost. So, the health risks. First, leather production has never been particularly famous for being bad for the environment, it's true. But the nrands are just as guilty here, that the producers of fakes, if not more, because of the scale of their business. Secondly, I personally don't lick my bags, barely sniff them and definitely don't eat them. So, really, how much harm can they cause?
👜
I think there’s a place for both
1. It's hilarious that there are fake Michael Kors bags.
2. I buy authentic but it's not to show off. It's because I love these brands - their designs, their quality (yes I know there are issues) and their heritage. I have considered buying a fake Birkin or Kelly, but I just can't bring myself to do it. I have had a fake in the past that I've never carried, because it didn't make me feel good. It wasn't a Dior bag, it was a bag that said Christian Dior across it.
3. I'd rather have a real Coach, Senreve, Basile, Aspinal or countless other more affordable brands that put out quality items.
waste of money just to belong 😅
Dupes, preloved or vintage: yes. Counterfeit: NEVER! 👜
Lots of counterfeits are openly advertised as discounted luxury brand goods on Facebook. Strangely Facebook condoned these advertisements.

The best of the best replica bags. Are luchentic quality. They use the very same leather and crafts people from the designer brands. And workers steal the hardware. They are extremely hard to get. I have 2 a versace wich is a medium tote. Withe metalic medusa.l paud 500 for. And a large Channel tote which was 750. I have a friend whos huspand got her a genuine Channel tote in the same calf skin and he paid 20,00. She was so upset when she saw mine and compared to hers said never bying authentic again. But l could never get a hold of the person l bought my bags from 😢
I was in China and needed an extra travel bag and it was cheaper to buy the knock off Prada nylon bag than a regular black nylon bag ( I ripped off the fake Prada logo plate and tossed it)
Love *hotdups* bag. This has to be the best, most detailed bag authentication ever on CZcams. Thank you so much for sharing
What I don’t get is if you don’t want to spend thousands on a luxury bag, don’t! But a nice contemporary brand bag like a Coach or Tory Burch bag. They’re just as nice IMO.
ok superfake is okay but the original bag or jewerly you can resell and fake you can not
