Most interesting and coolest guest on JRE. This was fascinating AF. I love hearing stories like this. It's so totally different and far removed from our culture.
Since we are biologically still programmed to be nomadic hunter gatherers its no surprise that David became so happy when he lived among them. He's literally tapping into his evolutionary brain and it feels amazing.
it's what we're meant to be doing. no wonder so many of us are miserable; we're literally just animals trapped in different cages. instead of being with oue friends and family, hunting or gardening/foraging or caring for our animals, we're shoved into cubicles and dark factories for 8+ hours. would immediately trade my Big Macs and internet for a peaceful life gathering berries and veggies for my family.
Someone once told me we get depressed because we don’t have the need for survival anymore so we are just focusing on all the negitive things in our lives when we never used too
Because ancient cultures were against killing themselves because they would never be able to get into the afterlife. To kill ones self is to cheat and get there faster....but you wouldn't be accepted.

I mean, a complex economy is super crazy if you think about how we get trained to do a specific task that has nothing to do with 99% of what's important to our survival, and somehow we get food, shelter, medicine, drink, transportation, etc... and some people just have to prove that they can't do these things in order to be provided for.
the triangle The fact of the matter is, there’s a vastly higher percentage of people in economic systems like ours that aren’t prospering and are suffering. The problem with the world now is that we forgot who we were. Those African tribes know the real way of life
@@daringducky5337 See there's so many things inherently wrong with what you said but I'll make this as short as possible. Are you African-American or African? I'm the former. Do you have personal friends who are African? I have many. So for argument's sake lets assume I have a tab bit more insight and connection. Africans didn't know what they were doing, hence them selling each other into slavery and being conquered at every turn. Like or not we must evolve, or get left behind. Evolution sometimes has to take precedence over traditions and culture. I'm from New Orleans and that city suffers greatly from the aforementioned. A certain amount of people will always suffer for various reasons. The Bible says the poor will always be with us. People have suffered in Africa since it's origin. And people continue to suffer there and if you talk to the average African they'll tell you Africa gets it wrong more then right. What makes this country great is we get it right more than we get it wrong. The concept of utopian society is a glib fantasy. Surviving isn't enough because is doesn't provide for rainy days or being able to serve others in and adequate capacity. Africa is more of a burden than a benefit. When the rest of the world needs help they're not capable because they haven't progressed enough to be in a position to be that shoulder to lean on. Charity and kudos isn't what Africa needs. They get more charity in sum than they actually produce. What they need is the hard truth. I guarantee if you had a personal genie Congo or Somalia wouldn't be in your top 1000 places to visit.

Since we are biologically still programmed to be nomadic hunter gatherers its no surprise that David became so happy when he lived among them. He's literally tapping into his evolutionary brain and it feels amazing.
Wow thats...yes
absolutely.
it's what we're meant to be doing. no wonder so many of us are miserable; we're literally just animals trapped in different cages. instead of being with oue friends and family, hunting or gardening/foraging or caring for our animals, we're shoved into cubicles and dark factories for 8+ hours. would immediately trade my Big Macs and internet for a peaceful life gathering berries and veggies for my family.

Someone once told me we get depressed because we don’t have the need for survival anymore so we are just focusing on all the negitive things in our lives when we never used too
Humans tend to be problem driven. We will make problems when we don’t have any legit ones. Your statement is correct
That's certainly the root of my depression spells

“What a crazy way to live” nah that’s what they think about us
I mean, a complex economy is super crazy if you think about how we get trained to do a specific task that has nothing to do with 99% of what's important to our survival, and somehow we get food, shelter, medicine, drink, transportation, etc... and some people just have to prove that they can't do these things in order to be provided for.
Peter Anon that’s what I’m sayin, complex af
@@peteranon8455 See that's what's wrong people like you. You're satisfied with just surviving, boi I'm out here living life and prospering
the triangle The fact of the matter is, there’s a vastly higher percentage of people in economic systems like ours that aren’t prospering and are suffering.
I guarantee if you had a personal genie Congo or Somalia wouldn't be in your top 1000 places to visit.
great content, this dude has so unique experiences it's crazy.

People are more resilient and capable than you think my friend, and many people would love to live simpler lives. Most often we play the hand we are dealt. Thats no reason to say one can or can't do something. I could absolutely live like this, though it is more beneficial and easier on my family if I live the way I do. I just don't think you REALLY understand how hard it would be for you acclimate to this lifestyle. If you wasn't raised up and born in this type of lifestyle you will get siick, diie quickly, get massive diahrieaa ext...there is literally multiple situations that you won't wanna be in...
Your body is not used to the hot sun in afriica fiirst of all so if you don't haave your sunscreen you will diie, Your body is also used to having clean, purified water in abundance...One drink of the tribal water you will instantly get siick,
Your body will also go through a detox phase that will leave you deppressed, anxious, and siick for weeks if not MONTHS from detoxing from the gmo foods in America, detoxing from the toxic Chemtrail air in ameriica, the pollution, all the biochemical sh0ts you have to get yearly, and from the druugs/medicine if you take them...Do you know that before you go to afriica...you will have to get like 10 sh0ts??? So you'll most likely be getting siick from those...Then you have to worry about the malaria carrying mosquitos, also other unknown animals bites..
Your body will not be acclimated because you weren't birthed there. Your body wont be used to the low amount of water, bad quality of water, the eating of monkey, and other wild animals like snakes...Your also not immune to the bee stings like these peple so you have to deal with that plus the fact that your not on the level of fitness/skill that these men are at. It will be extremely hard for you to get food...don't think that these men are just gonna take food out of their wives and childrens mouths to feed a GROWN man who OUTSIDER???
You will have to earn youR keep...the asiian guy brought his own cliff bars and water and he had back up, plus he left after a while...your actaully talking about living there...
You are so naive, you would probably starve to deeath or diie of dehydrati0n...and you will be in a great deal of pain everyday due to sleeping on the hard ground and having critters bite you every night..
Your body is used to sleeping on a warm bed, taking warm showers, getting food from your fridge when your hungry ext...
Your talking all of this t0ugh talk, mountain man talk but I bet money that you wouldnt last out their for 2 days without the help of the showrunners or the tribal men lol...
You don't even know the language at all neither..These peple are a close nit tribe/community aswell..what makes you think they will just all of a sudden let you in as an outsider??? They don't even know you but you think these peple are just going to allow you to live with them around their children and wives lol...
Do you know how ridiculous that sounds...that's like if a man from afriica came to ameriica...and wanted to live with me because he saw how I lived from a CZcams video...
I'm not letting any random person ever live with me and be around my family....
And this isn't even half of what can go wrong..I'm just giving you a slight reality check Mr. Nature boy.
You have been living the westernized, easy way for Your whole life and you just think you can up and just switch to being a hunter gatherer like that...
Firstly your mental isn't even prepared for that type of lifestyle
.These peple were raised up in nature and bred since birth to be skillful hunters and yet they still struggle at time to get a meal...
But you just think it will be a walk in the park lol..
You western peple have such arr0gance and are such p0mp0us, c0cky peple...
You are literally not built like that and your not built to survive up in the hot afriican sun, hunting. You grew up in the western land and your used to an RELATIVELY easy life...Keep it that way and be greatful for what you have. Your way too s0ft to live that Hunter gather lifestyle. Your senses and survival instinct isn't even mastered like these peple..a nd it's easier to teach a child than to fix broken men or to break bad habits in an older man with habitual nature.
You probably couldn't even run in the sun on a 85 degree hot day for more than 10 minutes but you think you would be able to survive with these tanzania peple. Man you western peple have to be the most delusi0nal peple ever.

So what you’re saying is that it’s in humans’ nature to build societies and civilizations and make technological progress right? Since that seems to have happened in multiple places around the world disconnected from eachother I’m inclined to agree
They do not live normal. They live in an unevolved world. As you learn from biology humans are made to adapt and have the smartest Brian of any mammal. We’re supposed to be constantly advancing. And by that I mean bettering in humans, not technology. Technology nowadays is an insane world
