I really don’t know why anyone is still struggling to keep Tana as a friend. She’s made it abundantly clear again and again that any relationship, any drama, any repercussion, is secondary to a whim she has in the moment.
Not to mention it made my skin crawl with how she tried to turn it around on him. “I have sacrificed a lot *for you* so it hurts *me* that you’re upset that I went partying with the guy that hurt you”. Tana’s world revolves around Tana, and it’s no one’s fault but your own if you have any kind of issue with that in her eyes.
Kinda has Gabbie Hanna/Jessi Smiles vibes, like "how dare you be mad at me for hanging out with your rapist"
It's giving similar energy to Gabbie Hanna telling Jessi Smiles that it wasn't that a big deal that she hung out with Jessi's rapist, Curtis Lepore, and his friends because "I'm allowed to have other friends," and telling random fans that she was so lonely because she was just such a good friend to Jessi that cut out all her LA friends because none of them wanted anything to do with Jessi. (Which wasn't even true, if Gabbie truly didn't have friends aside from Jessi, it was probably because nobody else liked her lol.)
Gabbie and Tana are both so manipulative, trying to make their supposed friends' traumas about themselves and how it affects their own social lives. Being a decent friend is just sooo hard on them :(

It utterly stuns me that Tana was able to sit there, hear what Jeff said about the incident, and then just managed to plow on forwards, anyway. That's not where you buckle down, love. Something like that is where you pause, realize you've messed up double time, and then resolve to be a better friend in the future - and go through with it.

I've checked the prices of my favorite Pizzerias in South Tyrol, Italy, where part of my family is from and we visit a lot. You get amazing, huge, whole pizzas for 7 - 12 EUR. Even the fanciest pizzas in a fancy restaurant are 12 or 13 EUR. And those are absolutely incredible.
The problem is where he's located. He started in a expensive area where rent is probably off the charts so that pizza price is going to get hiked up. But he should have started somewhere else and spread out later because mediocre can only get you so far

Absolutely everything she said was avoiding what he said and turning it to victimize her. Hey, I've worked at a few pizza places in my career. For the record: no pizza place uses heat lamps. It's dough, it gets soggy. Frozen pizza at the gas station gets put on a heat lamp. Hence why it's so famously risky to eat it.
Sbarros sells by slice. They reheat in an oven before it gets to you. Refreshes the pizza. The dough gets crisper. He couldn't even be bothered to get that right!

How I feel about Designers too. I work inside a store in the mall that sells really expensive clothing. Nothing there is under $75, the quality is the same you can find at Walmart in the $3 bin. But because Calvin Kline, or Micheal Kors or even then entire show of Teen Wolf slaps their name tag on it, suddenly is “designer” and worth justify that price gouging. It’s deplorable and it tricks poor people into thinking they’re fancy when really they’re getting the equivalent of a RedBubble fan made tshirt, but with even less effort. I hate it!
It’s crazy that tana was okay with going to David’s party to support his pizza place opening up when she claims she cares so much about Jeff. I feel like if she really valued their friendship and cared about Jeff as much as she says then she would’ve never even thought about going to support David. I think tana still has a lot of growing to do as a person. It doesn’t surprise me though that there’s more to what happened to Jeff. David is a really sick individual. I don’t know why anyone associates with him at this point.
"Growing to do as a person" is a nice way to phrase her lack of integrity... she is a grown woman and an adult. Yes we all learn and grow from our mistakes, but Tana is too myopic to be trusted with possessing that grace.
American here…I can tell you right now that those prices for pizzas, not to mention the for the single slices, are absolutely freaking outrageous! Only an influencer that can burn through cash like there’s no tomorrow would pay that much for a pizza.

Wow imagine being that badly injured, finding out it was intended to be a prank, finding out they tried to say YOU were driving, and David later even trying to tell the public that Jeff had sent him a video of a similar stunt, trying to say that Jeff asked for them to do that. David really did immediately try to cover his ass even while Jeff was in the hospital. And the sad thing is, Jeff stayed quiet on the topic for so long.
At some point, I have to blame the people who support these content creators and then complain when their products are subpar. What did they expect??

That’s not an average price for pizza, but prices change from one state to the next and I know things are pretty pricey in California and even more pricey in LA. I live on the other side of the country and a large pizza is generally $17-$20 depending on toppings. A slice can be $3-$5 and they’re HUGE slices, like 1 slice takes up most of a paper plate.
I'm in SoCal and we can get a large cheese pizza for $5 or $6.

A slice of pizza in America usually varies between a dollar and $3 depending on the pizzeria and topping, but $6.75 for a slice of pizza?! That's outrageous David Dobrik! With $6.75 I could buy a small pizza pie from Papa John's or 2 orders of 2 slices with a can soda along with small pieces of candy

I work at a pizza bar & yes.. our smallest pizza is around $17 just for a cheese. Each toppings is over $1 extra. Its crazy exepensive in the food industry for non-chain restaurants

Not Normal prices! Little Ceasers has $5 U.S.D. for a pizza. That doesn't even include Taxes. Little Ceasers is the bottom of the barrel when it comes to pizza in the U.S. though. Still way too much, top notch Chicago pizza is not even that expensive.

Tana does not understand what friendship and loyalty even means. It's like being in a relationship and when you're partner is hurt about you cheating on them, you're like: "I proved how faithful I am to you by not cheating for five years, it hurts that you still doubt me!" If anyone recklessly hurt my friend like this, I wouldn't want anything to do with them anymore. If I found out it has been a prank and that they tried to but the blame on my friend, they'd be dead to me.
In Chicago a slice of pizza is usually $5 but it's two to three times that size. A pizza that looks similar to their size would be $15 to $25 depending on where you go & what's on it. Usually places that market as selling per slice, especially at night after the bar, will do $5 for a slice, drink, & side. His prices are outrageous!
To make the prices even worse, the menu inside the location don’t have the price listed, just what the options to order are
6 dollars a slice is insane tbh specialty pizzas can go for around 16$ max, but there's a specific restaurant that does whole pizzas for 5$. so i think it's a bit much but I'm from the east coast, idk Cali prices. I don't think David really thought this through. more like he thought up the name and decided to make a restaurant around it.

Even here in Southern California, you can get whole large cheese pizza for $6. Even from an independent restaurant, I can get a high quality whole wheat crust, fresh pizza for $10 with 2 toppings,medium
You can get really fancy pizza in a good restaurant for 15 EUR in Italy, regular ones go for 7 to 10 EUR. These prices are insane and do in no way reflect the cost of the ingredients.
I cannot think of a single place with prices like that. a local pizza shop where i live that has *gourmet* ingredients has a 14inch pizza for $20. they also have tokens that you can exchange for ice cream, and kids pizzas (which are just super small and pizzas with simpler options) automatically come with one. you don't have to get the most expensive thing on the menu to get one
A whole medium sized pizza near me in America is ~5-6 dollars
i feel like jeff should take time alone like go on a road trip or something to just be without these people for a while and really evaluate his feelings and his life after this happened. he’s spent a lot of time clearing his name in this and trying to get justice if you will for what really happened. he’s gotta be so drained from it and i think it would help him if he did step back and get away from it all for a while

Where I grew up, you can get a plain slice for about $2.75. And specialty slices are like $3.25/$4.25 depending on what’s on it…. But that’s Northern NJ pricing lol.

These prices are super expensive for the most part but I went to Vegas a few weeks ago and the pizzeria inside the hotels ranged from 36 - 48$. And they all only came in a small size.

there's a pizza chain in the states called Little Caesars and they used to have a "hot-n-ready" pepperoni pizza that you could buy for 5 dollars. a WHOLE pizza. you could just walk into store, ask for a pep pizza, usually instantly get one, pay five bucks, and leave. not too long ago, they raised their price to $5.50, and a lot of people freaked out.

I live in the Bay Area and $20 is the average price of a plate of food at a restaurant. I never buy pizza because it is so crazy expensive. $30+ is the average price for a medium/large pizza.

I live in rural Alaska. One large Pizza Hut pepperoni lovers pizza is $21.99. For reference, a gallon of milk is around $5.50 average and a 14.5oz Doritos is $6.78 at our closest Walmart.
Even counting for inflation, even if they're the best pizzas, those are gouging level prices

The prices for a whole pizza are pretty high, but as someone from Los Angeles, I can say the slices are pretty average in price. Most places here are $5+.
I watched the spill sesh videos on this and it’s insane. Even in America, that’s a lot for pizza. But comparing it to the European currency really shows how much David is ripping people off with these prices. As someone who now lives in LA, I know things are more expensive than my hometown, but that’s literally wild. Almost $40 dollars for a large pizza? Nah. That’s always a no.

The pizza place I work at is a artisan one, pizzas are put together on the spot with fresh ingredients, 12 inch pizzas that can feed up to 1 or two people, put in a wood fire oven, cost from $11-$15 depending what the pizza is and it’s delivered fresh out of the oven.

Those prices are high but aren't unheard of in America. Like Dominos, depending on what you get, can easily be 25 bucks. It's annoying as hell. There are cheaper places tho.

I'm south african so I had to convert dollars to rands and JESUS (it would be R550 which could get you a high quality fancy dress), a large pizza in my country would be average R100-200 (and that big price includes probably like 20 something toppings), that's 5-10 dollars... so just that slice price would buy you a pizza and a half here
I’m in the US and thats absolutely the price of food in my area. That’s the average and it’s literally impossible to eat anymore. Even if you have an okay paying job it’s impossible to live in a city nowadays because of food and housing costs

Standard large pizza in the USA is around $10-$20. David's pizza prices are obscene, but young people will pay just to say they went there. Once the flash in the pan is over, I doubt it will stay open that long cause in LA most brick and mortars have a high turnover rate if the prices are normal.

This is expensive for pizza in LA county (I live an hour from LA), but they are not strange prices for a gimmicky sit-down pizza place. Key word being "sit-down" because the fast food types are maybe $15 to $20 for a large whole pizza. There's a place called Round Table Pizza and they're about these prices now, but they're huge pizzas with good ingredients and always have coupons available.
Also, the parking in this area is GOD AWFUL. It's on Sunset Blvd, which is downtown Hollywood, but it's shite for getting to as just some place to "stop by and hang out".
