Baza sees car on bridge, baza still believes he has right of way...baza sees van on bridge, baza moves forward thinking the same thing. Baza doesn't learn, don't be baza
The car may have already been on the bridge as baza got there, so that one is contentious, however if you see the signs on the approach, baza does indeed have priority over the oncoming vehicles, so the transit driver was wrong to enter the bridge and hopefully baza stood his ground and made him back up.
Approaching too fast or forgot to use his siren.
No-one has the right of way on UK roads.... it's in the overview for rules 103-158 in tyhe highway code;
*The rules in The Highway Code do not give you the right of way in any circumstance, but they advise you when you should give way to others. Always give way if it can help to avoid an incident.*
"
Cliffjumper24 surely the queen does.
If I really wanted to be annoying I would have stayed put. From my side of the bridge it is impossible to see any oncoming traffic. . Also there was another car right behind me so I could not move any faster than them. He never took anytime to look before crossing he must have been able to see two cars coming and he just chanced itWhen coming the other way in 10 years I have never crossed when anybody is oncoming. I could have approached it a bit slower. Lol what was he thinking getting out.
2:37 there’s enough space to let him in there, before he decided to speed up on purpose
Rules of owning a dashcam
1: See a potential 'road rage' incident ahead.
2: Put foot down to create incident
3: Swear a lot
7:21 needs reported to the police. That kid was very nearly killed.
Agreed, that clip scared the shit out of me. Good job the kid was paying attention. Just goes to show you need to be constantly looking when crossing the road even when there's a pelican crossing! Always some cunt out there to get ya! I don't know what the original clip quality is like, personally I would have caught up to the guy at the next junction to make sure I had a clear image of it and then handed it to the police. Not that they'd do anything sadly.
That was straight-up Dangerous Driving, something which lands you straight in Crown or Scottish High Court and can't be dealt with by police TOR.
If the kid had been killed we're talking Death by Dangerous Driving. Likely 10 years inside and a whopping driving ban, possibly even for life.
The number of Cammers who see a situation developing in front of them, and plough on regardless staggers me. The one at 5:55 is a classic example. Can see what the other car is doing, just drive into them anyway.
Christopher Roe-Bullion I am inclined to agree in general, but what is plainly obvious to you or I apparently isn't obvious at all to half the numpties with these cameras. It seems their brains are too slow to appreciate what they're seeing and take very minor steps to avoid these little conflicts. I'd say they were actively looking for confrontations, but I suspect that's giving them too much credit. They're more likely just a bit dim and need far too long for their brains to process the information coming from their eyes.
It is also an example of an occasion when it would be appropriate to use the horn, unlike most of the clips where the horn is sounded after the event.
4:24 You may have 'Right of way' however, the Vectra had already committed to passing over the bridge so ya know.....shut it.
Was there any idea why the Vectra bloke stormed out the car for? Am I right in thinking that the cam car was mouthing off, or gesticulating?
Could have been due to how slow the camcar was reversing maybe
Judging by the camera car drivers condescending whistling, I imagine yes he was reversing super slow on purpose just to annoy the vectra driver.
I would have liked to seen the clip continue to see if the transit, who must have known the cam car was there, backed up, why that guy pulled onto the bridge I have no idea.
+Bad Drivers of Northamptonshire *You may have 'Right of way' however...*
I hate to point this out to you, but there's no such thing as a 'Right of way' on the road in the UK.
If you look at the overview for rules 103-158 in the highway code, it says;
*The rules in The Highway Code do not give you the right of way in any circumstance, but they advise you when you should give way to others. Always give way if it can help to avoid an incident.*
I've found it's very common for people to flip the concept of 'give way' into "If they are expected to 'give way', then I have the 'right of way'.... but it doesn't work like that.
Think of it this way.... the opposite of 'you are what you eat'..... makes you a cannibal! ;^)
Elle Sea, Wrong! "The legal right of a pedestrian, vehicle, or ship to proceed with precedence over others in a particular situation or place." I would call that priority... wouldn't you?
Lucky that kid was still looking as he crossed at 7:25 ish, what a twat in that X5
Badges/brands like that attract the kind of person who thinks they are better than everyone else, people who look at nothing but status and superficial looks. They're twats to begin with. They're the same people you see wearing EA7 or Kenzo or DSQUARED clothing. If you took the badge off the car it would be worthless to them.
Driving Me Mad The chicken or the egg has now become the German car or the cunty attitude. Used to be just BMWs, but now it's spreading....
4:23 Baza, how did you expect the car to see you? They were already on the bridge before you were anyway.
There is a long approach were he could have seen me and the car behind. But I did enter too fast I gave way to him had to wait for the guy behind to sort himself out.
Where? I looked it up on the maps and you can't see the other side at all. goo.gl/maps/h8tjiBuuZnR2 Edit: looked at coming the other way and although there is a second or so that they may have been able to spot you, it's not really obvious. The weather looks bad in your clip and I can't see the other car at all.
I did approach too fast. Where you can see the crash barriers is where you can see cars approaching when your on the other side but this guy seems to have not slowed to look or just didn't see me. There was also car car behind me.
Just looked at the google maps street view.If you put the camera on the give way line you can see two cars which is how it would of looked to him. When I go the other way I go over the line towards that lane to get a better view.
Well that's how he would see if his eyes were positioned at 8 / 9 feet in the air. The weather wasn't that good, and you can't see their car from your dash cam. Do you have earlier footage? Maybe they were in the layby to start with. Personally I'd say it's a pretty crappy bridge. Just it seems like an unfortunate situation.
Legend has it Baza is still trying to get over the bridge, "fuck sake!"
That bmw driver at 7:23 needs an immediate ban
I believe the motorcyclist at 07:06 was in the wrong lane to start with. Looks like the left hand lane is first exit (left turn) only.
Jim Bob there’s no arrow so he can go straight from that lane but it’s his road positioning which makes the joining car believe he’s exiting the roundabout.
Could the joining car have been more careful? Probably
Could the biker have positioned himself better to make his intention clear? Probably
No arrow, tomjsh? No. But there are lane markers that he crosses to change lanes.
The biker didn't show road dominance. This means that any open gap given can and will be taken. The following vehicle rightly assumes the biker is changing lanes as that is what appears to be going on. The biker should have been more over to lessen the chance of overtaking.
Yh I agree
If that boy hadn't carried on looking he would have been dead or seriously injured. The driver wants finding. Could have ended completely different!
Instead of dash cams, I think you should be offering anger management and defensive driving courses as prizes.
Dave R, the brake pedal would be just as easy to reach as the horn button. People do make mistakes, and it's nice to be grown up enough to allow for them occasionally.
Most impressive person this week for me is Baza. Absolutely well done mate. Why? Because he has the balls to come on here, put his hands up and admit the failures in his driving. Very few people in these clips ever admit their driving was below par. The old adage ‘treat everyone on the road like idiots’ is wrong and should be completely ignored. The first step in any incident is analyse your own contribution to the situation. Could you have gone a bit slower. Should you have hung back a little and let the others sort themselves out. People are far too intolerant of others, more so when they’re cocooned within the safety of their tin boxes. I guess it keeps me in a job... scraping your brains off the tarmac. I hope the X5 driver over the crossing is duly prosecuted for dangerous driving.
The adage about treating everyone else on the road as an idiot is not wrong -you merely seem to have misinterpreted it. It does not mean ‘shout and scream at everyone else even when it’s you that fucks up’. It means that you should assume everyone else is an idiot and therefore likely to do something stupid, like pull out in front of you, or make a last second change of lane etc. If you assume they are likely to do something stupid, you are far more likely to avoid them when they do. Adage correct, ignore it at your peril.
7:08 undertakes a lorry and goes around the roundabout in the wrong lane and has the audacity to sound his horn at someone. Needs a bit of road rash to teach him a lesson
the lorry wasn't in the same lane, nor was it going the same way as the driver
@@ethanr__ the motorcyclist was in the lane for the first exit only, the hgv was in the lane for the second exit or to continue around the roundabout
What was with the job head at 4:24? You only have the right of way if they are not on the bridge already. Same as a roundabout. Some people live to shake heads at others and always speed up to a potential mistake. What a twat
I did not speed up. But was my mistake to enter too fast. The oncoming driver also had plenty of opportunity before entering the bridge to see two oncoming cars from a vantage point before he entered.
Bazahaza you weren’t on the bridge and he was, And he could see the same as you from the other side, Bit thick?
The maximum speed a vehicle can travel on a U.K. motorway is the maximum speed the vehicle is capable of achieving.
emergency vehicles also.
Maximum allowed speed is 70mph
Tom Sproston if you can find a stretch of motorway without roadworks on of course.
LOL, so true... Germany is the Baustelle King of europe though.
That's not a law, just a guideline. Plenty of people have recieved penalties for speeding by a smaller margin.
I say 70mph, and you won't get me to admit otherwise copper
stephen so that's why those artics doing 70 mph aren't being pulled?
Love watching your channel .... think you’ve shown me how important it is to have a camera, speed limit on a UK motorway is 70mph :)
70mph!! Love this channel! Keep it going!
7:09 Paul B you hopped from one lane into another. You were supposed to be going left what do you expect?
Lucky the HGV wasnt closer or he would have been taken out
Flipping hell these goonies have such slow reactions, is the any point beeping the horn after its happend?
The Maximum Speed on a UK Motorway is 70mph for a car, 60mph for Vans, cars with trailers and vehicles over 7.5tonne, although if we are talking about enforceable speed limits the Police forces usually allow 10% + 2mph, so 79 for a car 68 for everything else but that is discretionary with the Police. Emergency Vehicles can exceed the speed limit with justifiable reason
Whats AygoCam8's problem with the overtake @3:35 ? I agree the 2nd one crossing the double white line is not on but the first was perfectly fine.
Motorway speed limit: 70mph.
That blind single lane bridge should be fitted with basic traffic lights.
Better yet, widen that damn bridge so traffic doesn't need to wait. Putting in more traffic lights only gives idiots more opportunities to jump them, and cause serious accidents. It's just like those narrowing points at 9:58. Why force traffic to drive on the wrong side of the road, when the road is plenty wide enough. Idiotic road design.
7:08 knobhead Paul B in the wrong lane to start with.
Even of he was in the wrong lane the car still pulled out in front of the lorry!
The clip at around 4:30 with the vectra coming over the bridge, I don't see the problem? There wasn't any way for the vectra driver to see the oncoming car, he was more than halfway across before the car with the dash cam started to cross?
Hi, the national speed limit for a vehicle to travel on a motorway in the UK is 70mph (112km/h) maximum. Excluding vehicles towing trailers/caravans, busses/coaches and HGV's which is 60mph (96km/h)
I'm guessing you're looking for 70mph. Technically emergency vehicles can do any justifiable speed legally and obviously you could probably manage 250mph+ in the right vehicle if you don't care for the law or your own safety.
James Coyle shut up you muppet
I think the max speed for traffic cars is 135mph. I've not really seen any do over that. I've seen one doing 155mph but that was to catch some arse in a Porsche 911.
gullyg123 Why is he a muppet when he's correctly answered the set question.
It's not his fault that the competition runner is after a specific speed figure and used an ambiguous question.
BrianGriffinQuahog actually you can legally do 79 on uk motorways, as the speeding rule as a 10% + 2 mph
ummbop Not anymore. You should re-educate yourself on the latest legislation.
The paid promo ads are shite. Being made out as a competition. At least make it shorter.
Love the indicate and move maneuver. Like don't bloody look... most times there isn't enough room. Can they fit? Yes. Without reducing the safe braking distance in front and behind? No. It's not just about common sense and courtesy, factor in the safety of it and most times it's not. Slowing down to give right away when you already have it isn't safe either.
Well 70 legally but what ever they want to go not legally. Seen some people do about 190 😂
I think the guy at 0:59 learnt his lesson!
MagicalMysteryTrip only when they will crush they will
70mph, 7:22 shocking driving.
answer to the question, my car can travel at 132mph on the motorway, so the book tells me
70mph is the fastest you can go on a motorway in the uk.
Um yeah legally. If the road is clear and there are no cops about then technically you can do whatever the car and conditions will allow.
The guy in the first one was hot🔥🔥🔥
I had the exact same thought...
Nah, looked a little pixelated to me. And that tie!!!
dukelive I was obviously talking about the mixed race one
And that was obviously a joke
Never mind!
first clip....was there any contact? cos I've watched it over and over again and other than the usual camera wobbling from breaking I can't see any extra camera wobbling from either car as a result of a collision
Step 1: Buy a dash cam
Step 2: Drive really aggressively
Step 3: Shout at people for driving aggressively
Couple of things - 5:20 - who are we saying is at fault there. The little Vauxhall or whatever for possibly pulling out late on red or the Fiesta for not checking the junction was clear?
The motorcyclist at 7:02 - he's in the wrong lane. The Benz was justified in pulling out.
The Max speed on U.K. Motorway is 70 MPH . Great videos cheers
70 mph is the max limit on motorways. Great compilation.
My answer is 70mph. Keep going on about needing a dash cam, had 2 incidents in the last week that I so wished I had recorded to be able to send to you! Thanks for the brilliant content as always
Have you got one yet?
Another great video mate... And the answer to the question is 70mph...
04.20 that bridge needs traffic lights. Similar one on Nutts Lane in Hinckley. Think it was about 15 years ago they put lights in.
Hi there. The answer is 70mph. This is definitely true. Thank you for the opportunity for this giveaway ❤
Maximum speed a vehicle can travel on a UK motorway?
Depends on vehicle and load.
Most vehicles upto 3.05 tonne is 70mph
Most vehicles towing a trailer 60mph
Busses, coaches and minibuses depend on length
Goods vehicles under 7.5tonne 70 unless articulated or agricultural
Goods vehicles over 7.5 tonne is 60.
Signs show speed limits in miles per hour (mph) or use the national speed limit (NSL) symbol. The speed limit is 70 mph (112km/h) on motorways, 70 mph (112km/h) on dual carriageways, 60 mph (96km/h) on single carriageways and 30 mph (48km/h) in areas with street lighting (restricted roads).
Well, an interesting question given the WORDING of the question. I am an ex-pat Brit now living in British Columbia, Canada. The maximum speed that a vehicle CAN drive on a motorway in the UK is whatever speed the vehicle is capable of! If it's a high-performance car, then it could be well in excess of 120 mph or much greater. That's what it CAN do. Now, as far as the maximum speed that a vehicle can LEGALLY drive would depend on the type of vehicle, and other LEGAL restrictions. Always good videos incidentally, and always look forward to them. Cheers.
Car, motorbike 70mph
Class 1 and 2 trucks 56mph
Car towing 60mph
And some restricted viechels between 50 and 70 mph depending on the company
70mph for cars, 56mph for hgv's and any speed you want if your a Taxi driver
70mph. Keep up the good work dashcammers. Expose the idiots that drive on our streets and highways
Blue x5 at 7:20, can that get reported to police? That’s shocking, poor lad didn’t stand a chance if he was a little further over the crossing.
Some say he is still trying to get over the bridge 😂
If it wasn't for the British registration plate in the first clip you could have told me that was in Hawaii and I wouldn't have questioned it.
70mph legally, whatever the car can do otherwise 😂😂
It depends what class of vehicle, but for a passenger car (not towing a caravan or trailer) it is 70mph, which is the maximum permitted speed for any class of vehicle on a UK Motorway.
Maximum speed by Law of a normal car on a normal UK motorway is 70mph. Small variations apply for different categories of vehicles/loads but 70mph is the standard.
70mph, love the vids
70mph! Although most choose to do as they please!
70mph. Keep up the good work
UK motorway speed limits - 70MPH. With the exception of the following which is restricted to 60MPH:
When towing , Buses>12M length , Goods vehicles >7.5Tonnes
the answer is 70mph, more often than not, if you drive a bmw, audi or merc 90-110 mph and if you drive the m1 or m6 3mph at best :)
National speed limit on the Motorway in the UK is 70mph, however, emergency vehicles that are attending an emergency are exempt from this.
I think that I'm going to ask Santa for a dash-cam for Christmas. After watching a few of these videos I'm sure that my car's acceleration and the speed that I can go around roundabouts will be massively improved if I get one.
Most of the drivers and pedestrians are do not know to look right left right. And not left right left. From Europe and other countries who drive on the other side. That’s why there is so much confusion imho may have passed a test but haven’t learned to rules in UK. Good luck and thanks to all cammers 👍🏽👌🏽
Bloodyhell Syed he doesn't want your life story pal🤣🤣🤣
4.10 this is certainly a deserved mirror smash if I ever saw one.
70mph
Great video.
70 miles per hour is the MAX a car can travel
The priority sign on the bridge is a bit daft as you can’t see ahead until already committed. Sooner or later you have to drive up the bridge to see if it’s clear.
Accelerating to stop a vehicle thats indicating from changing into your lane is piss poor manners and also dangerous. Anyway well done you stopped that truck getting into your lane and shaved seconds off your journey time.
The answer to the question depends on what you define as vehicle. The maximum speed that a vehicle can legally travel on a UK motorway is either 60MPH or 70MPH depending on vehicle type.
70mph. Keep em coming
Its 70mph for a car but varies for other vehicles like HGVs and vehicles towing
70mph for cars, vans etc but 60mph for HGV,LGV (yes the same sort of thing) and towing vehicles (this it not a complete list but enough to make the point for the competition)
To answer your question it depends on wether they’re following the speed limit or not. The speed limit says 70 but I’m pretty sure that you could go faster if you tried.
UK speed limits for cars, motorbikes, vans weighing up to two tonnes fully laden:
70mph
UK speed limits for a car with a trailer:
60mph
UK speed limits for buses, coaches and minibuses up to 12 metres long and goods vehicles weighing up to 7.5 tonnes:
70mph
UK speed limits for goods vehicles over 7.5 tonnes in England and Wales:
60mph
UK speed limits for goods vehicles over 7.5 tonnes in Scotland:
60mph
The speed limit of a United Kingdom Motorway is 70 Miles per hour. The speed limit of the typical Merc. BMW. and Audi driver, is Mach 2.
70 for cars, motorbikes and car derived vans and 60 for HGVs
cars/vans/buses/motorcycles: 70 mph (85-90 mph for German cars!) Cars/vans Towing 60mph Trucks over 7.5t 60 mph
Old farts that shouldn't be on the road: 35-40 max!
Ngl the guy in the first clip was fit as !! 😂
The law says 70. I say f* it. Depends how fast the car can go
There is no minimum speed limit set by statute on a UK motorway, although local conditions may lead to a temporary restriction being set
The maximum speed a vehicle can travel on a motorway is 70mph. For cars towing a caravan or trailer and HGV's exceeding 7.5 tonnes it is 60 mph.
1:57 How can you moan about other drivers? On roundabout leaned into inside lane, then back out again to take the exit then into the middle. How many lanes do you need? People in glass houses spring to mind
2:10 Is your indicator broken? Cammer is in the wrong.
3:21 Is your indicator broken? Cammer is in the wrong.
4:04 As above, how can you moan? Coming off the roundabout and straddling two lanes. On a motorbike. Looked to me you might of been moving to inside lane.
4:22 Looks like it has already been said about Bazza, but why? Slow down FFS
Glad some of these people have dash cams so that they can record their dangerous/aggressive and careless driving 😉
On dual carriageways or motorway a car is suposed to be driven at 70mph maximum , a Transit van, being a goods vehicle and not a "car derived van", is restricted by its class to a speed limit of 60mph. * The speed limit for goods vehicles not exceeding 7.5 tonnes is 60mph on motorways if the vehicle is articulated or towing a trailer.
The first clip was very near to one of my favourite dogging sites....
Restricted 155, unrestricted about 175. Motorbike about 220 👍🏻
Hi there! The answer is 70MPH and 60MPH if towing.
In direct comparison to "TheDutyPaid" - 70mph - or if you are after just one number 70 :)
Legally it is 70mph on UK motorways but technically the maximum speed a car can travel is the tip speed of the car
The answer is the maximum speed on a motorway is the either the national speed or which ever speed is sign posted. 😎
Answer is about 79mph. The limit is 70mph but anything above 79 is classed as speeding.
70mph on the Motorway.... not that anyone sticks to it 😂
Some of these people in the camera vehicles don't think to blast the horn sooner. Not half a second before impact/contact
70mph for cars and 60mph for cars towing!!
Max speed on a motorway is 70 cars, bikes & small vans, 60 vehicles towing and 56 (limited) for HGVs. (Oh and 50 for the middle lane owners club :-p )
max and paddy @ 5:45
