I was impressed with Fen bringing the pole directly to you! Kya enjoys watching me having to take a few steps or reach as far as possible when she returns anything to me! I'd love to see a video how to teach her to drop toys very close to me like Fen does with his flirt pole :)

Hey Tracy! Fen has done this on his own from the moment I introduced the flirt pole! I'm working on this right now with the ball though, so once I figure that out with him, I'll make a video about it!

Just ordered one for my 6 yr old staffy/boxer mix. High energy, high prey drive. We can go for a 7 mile walk, and she'll still have a ton of energy, so I hope this tires her out 😂

I'm in a wheelchair and currently training a Westie......I made a flirt pole, but she was so excited I have put it away until she has more basic training - not sure if that was the right thing to do?

I think that's a great idea actually, work on some basics like drop it and get it, then bring this back out! The novelty of it will cause interest initially, and I'd let your dog check it out on their own first, then start to establish some rules surrounding it.

My Pit is a rescue. She runs away if I pick up something long, like a spatula, back scratcher, broom, anything
I think she was hit by somone in her past 😢. Seen any with a handle instead of a pole?

This is very good for most dogs and I say it’s pretty good for your dog but if a dog is really high Drive this could cause injuries especially if they twist intern or their back legs stop quickly trying to get that thing so I cannot use it on my dog but again most dogs. This is OK with if you’re very careful.

Yup! As can fetch, tug, or any other physical exercise when it comes to high drive dogs. It's a great point, and something to watch for. All in moderation!
