- Today we have a really fun game for everyone to try. Civ 6 had a wonderful Huge Earth map added to it during the recent Frontier Pass update that everyone can play without mods. The best start for a TSL civ is debateable, but if you haven’t tried India... oh boy.
We’ll be utilising city states, speaking to owls, waging territorial wars, building step wells... and most importantly having a whole lot of fun collecting religions on this massive, awesome map!
That is if we can stop a rampant Australia!

I love Owls of Minerva, they're my favorite, but in this game I may have honestly gone Voidsingers and tried to use Kandy to stack up the slots with relics.
TSL Wonder starts are really cool! Was playing Mali and the fact that you start in desert with 2 desert wonders is insane. I had 3 +10 holy cites in my first 3 cities. Had science and culture lead without campuses and ts. Accidentally won turn 165 culture victory on Huge TSL due to the insane faith and gold generation.
Ooh! This looks like a juicy game in the making! One of these days, you should try the Viking Earth map, too. It's an enormous TSL map that I've had a lot of fun with.
As an Indian, I'm really looking forward to this game
As a Pakistani, same :)
Same - no one plays with Chandragupta.
as i white person, as am i
Hyped for the series
religous settlements is never boring. especially to me who never seems to EFFING GET IT
Ouch when nalanda ate that 22 tile from your cap when u snuck in the third envoy, had so much gold
Exciting!
When Ursa Ryan posts:
Early bears where you at
Never seen a Chandragupta game before. Can't wait!
Yeah, it's been a long time since I've seen something like a Cree or Iroquois game.
Bro if you had settled on the silk tile , you would have settled perfectly in Mumbai
I know as I'm from Mumbai
so close to greatness
My chandragupta tsl game was one of the most fun games I've ever played.
favorite two modes that i play with
Where the aqueduct is planned is where I think a +11 amenities Temple of Artemis could be placed.
Wow ima try dis
Hi. I'm new here. Do you have a list of mods used in this run through? There's some serious quality of life improvements!
Ever since Civ 1 I've looooooooved real map India starts. Even if I start in Eurasia I try to get to there quickly. Perfect combination of resources and isolation. It's also close to East Africa which is great if it's unpopulated.
I don't get why people say India is a bad civ while never mentioning the fact that they have the best missionaries in the game. With that natural +2 spread they are probably the most cost-efficient at flooding the world with wololos.
Wololo Wololo Wololo
you missed the oportunity to title this "best start everest" and it makes me a little sad... great video a part from that
I’ve noticed the AI only offers 1 gold for anything you get that turn, but should update after a single turn. I know this is kinda old now, but it’s good to know for future games.
Ayyyo
The Indian subcontinent is so mall on this map even when it is already extra large.
oh no! what happened to Private Selection Genoa Salami and Kroger brand trail mix?
time - time happened!
@@UrsaRyan oh this was like a year ago, I thought it was a new upload
Prediction: you're going to have to retake Jerusalem.
Is quick deals a mod or an in-game setting?
Mod .. you'll get it on steam
U should’ve killed the city states and rushed Mongolia way earlier with the op varus
Hey Ryan, I really like your videos and I would love to play the same maps and games youd. But would it be possible to play a game once without anything from the new frontier pass? I don't have it (yet) and although I could start a game with the same map and civs selected, the course of the game is always so different without the heroes or secret societies.
Pretty sure you got demonitized for that hong kong joke lol.
Yes, Europe is just to the west of India. Sumeria, Egypt, Persia... all Europe. Your geography knowledge hurts me physically
