MUM of two Amiee is an alternative tattoo model with extensive inking all over her body, including her face and heavily blacked out forearms. As well as being heavily tattooed, Amiee, now 23, also has over 12 piercings in her face alone. Amiee had her first tattoo when she was 13 and really started to get into tattoos aged 18, after she started working in a tattoo shop. A year later she had her first facial tattoo and has about 10 of them now. Amiee mostly has tattoos on her upper body and has over 50 - so far. Eventually she plans to be covered in tattoos from head to toe. Although friends and family have mostly been supportive of Amiee’s tattooed look, her parents took the longest to get used to it. What will they think seeing their daughter once again without any tattoos?

She has so many baaaddd tattoos. All of her face and neck tattoos are terrible. It is clearly an addiction, as it is definitely not for the art. Some of these folks are clear hoarders and their mentality is off, that they are so uncomfortable without their decorations and costume.
If that's what they are into then why is it such a problem? Like why can't people let others be who they want to be and not worry about others. Worry about yourself

So many artist was described as bad and after their death everyone thought smt opposite. She wants to be covered 100% so seems to be like, that her skin will be most in one colour 😅 So... It doesn't matter, this is good or that is bad.

for me I don't mind tattoos, but its when you get them on like the face that I don't like or the neck, basically just don't go overboard with them, same thing with piercing's, I don't like face piercing's at all ( if the piercings make them happy then that is good, its just not MY taste, I am sure there are people who like them on other people as well )

Does it mean your tattoos are your identity? I have heard this so many times with tattoos. As if these people try to hide themselves under their tattoos...
To me it doesn't feel like hiding, more like expressing myself. What tattoos are for each person is individual though. Probably there are people who hide behind them.
Most people are attached to how they look as their identity. So in answer to your quest yes, her identity is as the "tattooed one".
People identify with physical and mental disorders too. Attachments can ve made with many ideas and thing, and even people.
What a good strategy to express yourself .. so everyone can read you and know exactly 💯 who you are without any questions! That's a good 👍 strategy indeed but yet so vulnerable as everyone knows your expressing like you said 😅

I have to say: the make up artist did an outstanding job! It looks completely natural. Some of these transformations on tattooed people end up looking a bit uncanny or ghostly or you can see powder or creasing or weird texture. But this looks really good! Really well done!

From the neck up - 100% improvement. I don't mind tattoos, i am pretty well covered myself, but i live by the old 1970's tattooers rule - no tattoos below wrist and above collar. Of course that's just my ( and probably a lot of people born in the 50's and 60's) opinion :)

I have two full sleeve tattoos but was sensible and stopped at the wrist. I don't agree with face/neck or hand tattoos as much as I like them as I would like to be taken seriously in a job interview or create a good impression when I meet someone. Fair play to anyone that wants them but you've shut a lot of doors.
I've done career day for several years at a mid high & found out I kept on being asked back because I always brought up tattoos. I have 5, but 2 that is seen & I always had to wear a scarf to cover the back of my neck & a wrap around my ankle because we had a No show tattoo policy at that job. Employers, especially at high end jobs don't like them.

I don’t have tattoos, but if I do, they would have meanings, and I’m pretty sure that the person wearing them believed they were. However, I would not wear it on my face as it is what I was born with, but some people do make it work, like the late Rick Genest, aka Zombie Boy. As for the profession, if you want a white-collar corporate job or customer service, visible tattoos can be detrimental, but if you have an entrepreneurial spirit, go for it.

I’ve never understood why people get someone else’s “artwork” permanently put on their bodies, yet if they painted it on a wall, they would most likely get tired of it and paint over it after a few years. After all, how many adults in their 30’s and 40’s still have their bedrooms exactly like their teenage bedroom. Maybe there’s a better way to be tribal than defacing yourself. Most people with tattoos look like an old faded newspaper after about 5-10 years.

i am very heavily tattooed as well and i do get it what she means with feeling like ''losing ur identity''. However alot of her tattoos are so bad though, and clearly never thought out. Please if you want tattoos wait untill ur old enough and think about it for a long time before commiting. Which ever artists did work on her did a bad job

Wow a totally negative comment about people being "negative". They're just being honest that this beautiful girl covered her beauty with ugly tattoos. I love tattoos and self expression, but she makes me so sad. Why did she do that to herself? She’s a mess. Those are mistakes, not art. Stuff you regret that you do once. If I had every tattoo I ever wanted, I would feel extremely embarrassed by some of the dumb ideas I had, at the time. I couldn’t get a tattoo from an artist with horrible tattoos, because there’s a lack of judgment and style, that I usually sense.

I don't know why so many women choose to ruin themselves by inking up their skin all over the place. Marking up one's skin is so much deeper than skin deep if you know what I mean....
I like tattoos but for me her tats are to random. The reason why it looks better without for me. And your tats are not your identity.
Face and neck tattoos are a bit much for me personally, I wouldn't get any tattoos right now as they are permanent and I always wonder if I will still like them in years to come.
However I would probably have something meaning like birth date and name of my future children.
I feel the hair and tattoos go together well but they could have got a different style of outfit and wig in a more natural colour to really show a more complete transformation

With 13 a tattoo is naturally conversational and I think either, that the age is a little too early, for example the kid is growing and hmm... it depends where it was. She's so pretty, without so pretty soft I would say. Tattoos give for sure spiciness.

Look I got a couple tats. And I also don't have issues with people having multiple tats. But this......this is not normal. Every community needs to acknowledge there needs to be a red line. Where this is fine and that is mental illness. She crossed over that line long ago. And now she's stuck with these awful tats that I am sure someone else who's off their meds said are cool or amazing.
I've read so many comments here about people suggesting that psychologists would link a person's choice to get heavily tattooed with some kind of mental health issue, and just for the record- we do not!

Though I believe anyone can do what they want with their body (as long as they are sane adults), looks like there is something they don't see. Or don't realise quite well. We as a humans got used to see a human shape (especially face). And all those big tatoos (especially on face) interfere with this ability. Sometimes I guess some kind of toning or lining could help, but usually large face decoration make it hard to see and realise the face. Maybe that's the idea, I don't know.

Who buys a 13 yr. old a tattoo machine!? In the US you can't even get a tattoo until the age of 18 w/ out the consent of a parent. And why would a parent say they prefer tattoos on their child rather than their natural beautiful appearance? I don't comprehend this rationale and mindset at all.
It's really sad to see people like her who don't realize.....what she is born with is who she is. You are not what you adorn yourself with. You are not what you do to yourself. NOTHING outside makes what you are inside. It's the same with people (especially women) who wear an awful lot of jewelry. They do so in order to give themselves some self worth. They do this by placing all this jewelry on themselves, but it MEANS nothing. Instead of having self worth inside, they buy it and put it on, but that is not self worth. It's fooling themselves. None of those people will ever truly be happy.
