He was probably holding those koins in his ass
Mustâve smelled bad
@@iceeblueburst03 Sexy*
Or under his nads. Either way it's disgusting as fukc < :O
Why
He didn't call them Koins, he said fire gems... That could be his poop for all we know. Very valuable poop.
Gotta love that Blaze's whole lore In MK Is that he's wandering around, then guarded a dragon egg, then wandered around some more and finally became the ultimate villain of the OG timeline.
Pretty much how it went went with Hitler. Wandered around Europe, guarded the German Empire in ww1, wandered around Europe some more, and became the ultimate villain of the 1900s timeline.

Blaze just casually walking around the same 5 meters of ground for 11 years waiting for a stranger to return with a potion
đ€Łđ€Łđđđđ
He doesn't need a potion. Shujinko's fist is enough.
LMAOOOOOOO
*Shujinko hitting blaze's head
Shujinko : "Now feeling to remember something?"
Shukinko was in his 30s when he started the quest and he returned with the potion in his 50s. If we learned something from Blaze is that he is very patient.
actually, 40s
Wow. To think Armageddon could not have even happened if Shujinko didn't stumble upon Blaze. That would have been an awkward conversation.
God damn it Shujinko.
Shujinko messed up so many times. Raiden did good on killing him in his ending, lol.
In an alternate timeline in which Blaze never regains his memories
Kronika: Shujinko didnât speak to Blaze? Welp time to reset the timeline again
Armageddon would have happened anyway
It still would of happened since Deliaâs visions kept on happening in that timeline knowing Armageddon would of happened
He probably was traveling through the realms making sure everything is in place before the eventual Armageddon which why he don't remember his quest.
Yeah you're probably right đČ
đ
Traveling through the pit II stage until being ambush by Hornbuckle suspected member of the Holy Men also known as Lava Shrine Priest
Why would everything have to be in place?
@@Theodiorr not exactly what it means, if a war is coming between the realms that lead to Armageddon, then blaze's quest would've "solved" the problem, so he had to see for himself if the Armageddon is coming or not which wasn't at this time
I can't tell which is worst.
Having your memory taken away and forced to guard an egg for years or get put in jail for 20 years in prison over a curfew.
Or live your existence as nothing but weapon.
Shujinko really kicked off alot of the problems in this series
Armageddon would have happened regardless.
@@jamalmwanje628 Armageddon needed Blaze to be there to kick off. It literally couldn't happen without him.
Kronika willed these events into place

Ah I remember now... Welp, time to go and trigger Armageddon

Blaze does not have to tell Shujinko his business.
I remember that when I was a kid I always thought that by completing this quest you start MK Armageddon events.
Even if you didn't....someone did. Remember that. :P
I guess he was wandering the realms like all the other characters do but it is weird seeing Blaze wandering the realms he technically should be in Edenia.
He was probably checking what's going on in other realms from time to time to be sure if armageddon is close or not
Wasnât he forced to watch Onagaâs egg? Since Onaga is now free, Blaze is free.
Besides, isn't technically Edenia part of Outworld since Shao Khan conquered it?
He was captured in Outworld and than broke free. Shujinko helped him restore his memory while still in Outworld. However we don't know the exact time this happened so it's possible Edenia was still connected to Outworld. However I believe it's Outworld and Edenia in this point of time had already been freed from Shinnok's control.
@@Nick-up5wv let alone this was another timeline, so perhaps youre right
Blaze had a whole storyline going on in the background during this and Deadly Alliance.
Well my boy Blaze has been cursed by Delia to don't do something else in his existence other than being the one who will bring everyone to fight together in Armageddon. So I guess he needed to take a breather...
Also, this is one of the things that Netherrealm games don't have. In the Konquest mode even though some characters were not playable in the game, almost every Mortal Kombat character made a cameo.
He hasnt cursed, he created by Delia.
@@LikunNa It's a metaphor. Don't worry I know the story.
@@TheLordOfTheNight321 ok
I remember teh first time I spoted Motaro when playing this! I was so scared!
So in essence Shujinko brought about Armageddon. A fools tale.
It's no wonder Raiden kills shujinko in his ending then
@@mrassassinscreedfan1 Yeah exactly, anyone who threatens Earthrealm even if it was unintentional is still considered a threat. Ignorance is no excuse.
Not really, Shujinko unintentionally allows the possibility for it to be stopped. Had Shujinko not did this, the forces of light and darkness (good and evil MK characters) would have still fought, only difference is Daegon would have just murdered the amnesiac Blaze and became an unstoppable god working for Shinnok and Shinnok would have won. Daegon is already awake and knows about the quest, the biggest changes would be that the Pyramid doesn't show up (because Blaze wouldn't remember needing to teleport Daegon to that area) so everyone would just be fighting until Daegon and Shinnok kill everyone.
@@MysteriousTomJenkins This is about MK Deception not MK Armageddon. This is about how Shujinko messed up things regarding that. Nobody is referring to Daegon or Taven who are in the following game.
@@mrassassinscreedfan1 actually itâs cassie cage who kills him
If the holy men who made him guard the egg wiped his memory...how'd he remember the holy men and guarding the egg đ
A better question, how did he know he had a quest?
@@swolie that IS a better question!
Because the quest he forgot was his personal quest. The only quest he had in mind was guarding the egg for the holy men.
â@@beakedmonk3981
Because the holy men wiped his memory, then made him guard the egg. But yeah, him knowing he had some kinda quest is odd.
It's weird seeing this Blaze compared to how he look in Armageddon.
Blaze also looks like this in MK Deadly Alliance as a secret character you can play as.
And thatâs because itâs the very next game too lol
He looks like dread from max steel in armageddon
Gotta love these old Konquest games, where your character casually runs like 80 miles an hour đ
Damn to think he spent all those years walking back and forth in that same spot.
Also my guess he was in Outworld to gauge its threat level, since that's the realm where most of the crap starts and he was to decide when the moment to awaken Taven and Daegon arrived.
Blaze out there commiting tax evasion
Shujinko is the real villain I think not only he helped Onaga the dragon king resurrected but also helped Blaze start Armageddon.
Technically not cuz blaze was made if things got out of hand

"OH FUCK MY JOB"
So technically shujinko giving blaze his memory back led to a domino of events that eventually killed kronika
Possibly, Shujinko gave Blaze back his memory that led to Armageddon which was part of Kronika's plan until Raiden used his Retcon Fatality.
Shujinko has 2 sides
single-handedly being the cause of bringing about armageddon
Killing off one the worst written characters
They retcon too much of the story. Hasn't been very good after MK9. I know MK9 was a retcon, but it was a chance to go in a different direction for the better.

If thatâs Blaze, what happened to Hornbuckle, his nemesis at the âPit IIâ stage in MK II?

So you gave him the reminder to end the series...YOUR THE VILLAIN
I remember looking up secrets and walkthroughs for this back in highschool. I went to the computer lab and printed out a small novel worth of printer paper containing every secret.
I love Blaze's walk at the end. Like "Awh yeah gonna go end this bitch of an earth"
This is some amazing foreshadowing
God I loved playing Deception. I remembered when I got it I just expected fighting like all the MK games. Once I found this mode my mind was blown and I was so overwhelmed with all the lore and characters involved...
Freaking amazing
Little does Shujinko Know.. He'd start Armageddon.
I remember this when GSTAR321 did a walkthrough for his Deception Konquest mode series.
"A memory potion? Here is my last bottle."
I didn't say anything.
I have a theory that whatever those Holy Men did to Blaze is what messed up the result of the quest leading to Armageddon.
It is stated in Taven's AND Blaze's Armageddon endings that Onaga's priests corrupted Blaze's purpose.

A remake of this would be fire
Strangely odd hearing Blaze talk like that, you'd think he'd have some vocal effect on his voice or something, here he just sounds like Dave from Accounting.
Shujinko cursed into thinking his doing the right thing but he creates more problem unintentionally.
He had amnesia, and was trying to find himself
He was working out

This game was weird as hell. Loved it
Just a random guy waiting around and asking someone to find him a "Memory potion." This feels more like something from Xavier: Renegade Angel than Mortal Kombat.
Yes I remember now, my quest was to bring armageddon
Deception and Shaolin Monks were great games.
I had a rule when I played this. Any NPC that I saw doing that silly strut walk, I ran up and hit them.
ah yes, a potion that helps you remember things you wish you've forgotten
"Ah yes, I remember my quest now"
*doesn't say what it is*
Better question how frequently do onaga's holy men of dark people and erase their memories that's some random village lady would have multiple bottles of memory potion
But as for your proposed question of what was blaze doing it out world there are two likely answers one is that he was simply scouting out world gauging the power of the beings there to know if it was the proper time to send out the signal to awaken the brothers two is he was in a completely different realm doing the same thing or just chilling and he was ambushed by onaga's holy men due to his probably radiating immense magical energy and therefore being a perfect candidate for the guarding of the dragon egg
Blaze was traveling through the realms monitoring them as his quest by Delia, While traveling to Outworld Blaze was ambushed by Holy Men in the bridge... Likely a cameo mystery character called "Hornbuckle" as seen in the pit 2 stage in Mk2 is seen fighting blaze in the background presumably Blaze got defeated and a spell was put on him to brainwash him to serve guarding an Egg that had Onaga in it
Keep in mind I don't think these quest were completely cannon just put there as references or stuff to do... This mode had alot of deleted content and plans so maybe they did the best they could do on this mode
@@johneunique9069 you are right there was a lot of cut content and they were even some story elements craft that you can still see hints of in some of the different quests
Shujinko free Onaga *AND* bring the armagedon?
"thank you for helping me remember my memories, I will now climb to a pyramid that will give me the power to eradicate every kombatants from existence"
Vibing.... Why the duck are you so nosy
âRight so your main purpose is to bring about Armageddon to the realms but that wonât come for quite a while.â
âSo what shall I do in the meantime?â
âI dunno, just fuck around, do whatever the hell you want until then.â
