- I have been searching for engines for several of our project cars around here for a while. So when Greg from @JunkinTreasures contacted me and said that he had a 88 Ford F350 Crew cab he wanted to sell for $300 that had a fuel injected 460 in it and a C6 transmission I said I'll take it! So me and Tosh loaded up 3 months later and went to go get the truck and while we were out and about we swung by a guys house from Fb Marketplace and bought a 4L60E for the 71 International Harvester Metro Mite that we are planning on doing an LS swap on soon. Little did we know that someone who was apparently in the process of moving everything they owned with 1 car would want to buy our newly purchased truck on our way home. It ended up being one of the funniest encounters we have had in a long time. Hope you like the video and let us know in the comments what car you would like us to swap the 460 into.

Definitely do a will it start, then put it in the black Fairmont wagon. Use the 8.8 from the turbo coupe parts car and the brake system for 4 wheel disc brakes. If the floorpans are good in the turbo coupe parts car, cut them out and put them in the Fairmont because they are basically the same floorpans. Length is correct for that. The Fox Mustang and Capris have the shorter pans, whereas the other Fox chassis cars have the same floorpans due to the Mustang's 101 inch wheelbase versus every other Fox chassis car having a 105.5 inch wheelbase. That's easy access parts for the black Fairmont wagon.

I’m envisioning two lazy boy recliners in the cab, and a full size sofa behind them high on the bed rails. Chicken coop behind the sofa, and a nice enclosure for Rocky so he can stick his head out and enjoy the wind. Bamboo cab frame with palm leaves for a roof. Maybe Viking ship oars sticking out the sides with a black beard flag on a mast. Wonder if chia pet seeds will grow on the remaining metal body parts? LOL

I know a bloke that went from Melbourne to Alice Springs which is approximately 2,500km about 1,600 miles in a Ford Lazer, with a roof rack car and a package of stuff probably 12 foot high from ground to top of load and 6x4 foot caged trailer as high as the load on the roof, a Ford Lazer is a 4 cylinder hatch back, thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones

That poor impala, kinda crazy it's able to haul all of that. I think practically it would be best to pull engine/trans from donor truck, get started on cleaning it and prepping to swap. However, it would be great to see the kids have fun driving it around. Depends on how much work it actually is to get running so they could drive it around
