It’s so cool looking at Ed making a whole setup with a small desk

Yeah i really do not get that!!!!

I actually really enjoy these longer setup guides. They give me so much inspiration for my own setup and are really beneficial as someone who enjoys a clean looking setup. Hope to see more videos like this :)
Its nice to see a video like that. It gave me some guide because im building a pc with laptop setup this summer. Ty for the content.
Honestly, I believe it's one of the best so far. Never thought I'd learn how to properly cable manage too. This guy taught me how do build a pc when I needed to build one for a project one time. It was cheap to build but worth it for the satisfaction of being able to make something that seems complicated to others, but once you understand how it works, you feel like a genius.
There is ALWAYS condoms in Ed’s drawers. He’s a man of real commitment
He's trying to show he's not a virgin like other tech pc CZcamsrs
They're there because he aint getting any
I'm pretty sure he'll feature in a condom ad one day or another.

Definitely great ideas for a gaming desk. I plan on using most of these ideas for when I can create my own gaming desk.
Thank you and keep up the good work.
Thank you so much Man!! I loved the video and it gave me so many ideas as I am in the middle of putting up my own setup (Extended laptop setup) I think I will surely share the setup once I am done putting it up, so much inspiration and ideas from this type of content. Much much appreciated.

Glad I’ve seen this one. Moving from laptop to desktop and now I need to change my setup plan to incorporate the laptop as well 😁🤙🏼
Your setups get me exited when I am upgrading my setups
The time I was early, Ed was still cable managing his own main setup
27:58 I need a pencil drawer now.
thanks for the tips on cable management. Dont have the fancy supplies but using some good tape i found worked and now my setup is so much better. Only thing that is hanging is my laptop charger because I like to move it around a lot.
Definitely you are the guru of setups man. Congrats.
Absolutely love this series! I could watch these all day! 🙌🏼

10/10, really enjoy watching your videos. They have helped me build my set up. If it wasn’t for you the setup would be a nightmare. Your videos are entertaining and I also like how you add a little bit of comedy in them. Great video Ed, keep up. 💪🏽

jokes aside, I like everything, the only thing I wouldn't do on my desk, is drilling holes, even if it looks cleaner.

Stop Complaining to get likes smh 🤦♂️
8.5/10:
- The holes you drilled were bigger than they had to be. You have to hunt for them, but you can get grommets as small as 1 inch (www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004QMOTWI) that you could have used for the phone-charging stand (instead of the 1.5-inch ones you used), and you could have made the keyboard-wire hole smaller by running the type-C end through it instead of the type-A end
- Not enough commitment to the color scheme:
- The blue lights of the speakers, the blue and purple RGB on the PC, the green of the plant, the green sticker on the monitor, and the white keycaps clashed with the black/orange color scheme
- You should have painted/wrapped the table legs orange, or black
- You should have skinned the laptop and MX master
- I would have given yourself some more flexibility by calling it an orange/black/gray setup, rather than just orange/black
- The flexibility of the monitor mount could be handy, but you didn't talk about utilizing it, and based on the way you cable-managed it, I'm assuming you didn't plan on moving the monitor. With that in mind, you could have gone with a static mount to be able to have the mount point in the center of the desk rather than offset
- I would have brought the PC cables to the back edge of the desk instead of the left edge
- Minus 10 points for flossing
- You didn't mention incorporating the charging cable for the laptop into the setup; how do you charge it and still have it cable-managed? (I would get a second charging cable, cable-manage one into the setup at the stand, and keep one for traveling)
- Setup discussion didn't include a chair, so that's an unknown
- Audio sources are a personal preference, but the lack of easy support for headphones (from a cable-management perspective) is a negative in my opinion. Also no microphone, considering its a gaming setup, is a negative
- You didn't talk about using something like Synergy to use both the laptop and PC at the same time without having to flip switches on the peripherals; that would be a much more efficient use of the screen real estate
- The orange trees desktop background, while orange, doesn't fit the clean aesthetic. Something more abstract, like stripes, would have been better
okay, nerd
@@squirrelwholikeshentaiiam6798 he did what Tech Source asked for,he gave his opinion on this video and actually had very good ideeas for a cleaner setup, you don't have to be mean,he did get a lot of effort into this comment with constructive criticism that would actually improve everything :)))

Cool set-up as expected! I hope you can feature great examples of small space set-ups (desks that are 120 cm and below) because some people like me don't have much space for the most common IKEA countertop/table and Alex drawer combinations. Thank you!
