The only problem is that Ever After High and Disney have nothing to do with each other so, the parents/brothers/sisters may all be wrong For example faybelle is not maleficent's daughter she's the dark fairy's daughter because maleficent is one of Disney's creations, the witch in the original sleeping beauty fairytale is the dark fairy thus making Ever After High more accurate than Disney/Descendents ✨

Crystal's mom is not Elsa.... her mom is the Snow Queen, EAH is based off of the Brothers Grimm stories which they make very clear in the show, it is not based on disney but rather the original Brothers grimm stories. A large portion of disney character, are not their original characters, just stories that are made more child friendly and the plots are changed a bit. EAH has also made their stories more child friendly but there are many references to the original stories.

After reading all the comments below, I think it's safe to say that these 2 universes are not going to mesh easily. The problems arise with Ever After High being based on the original nightmare inducing stories. Disney has significantly changed and modified the original folk tales. We've got villians and heroes with diffent backstories and powers. Same name, same purpose, diffrent path from point A to point B. All that was glossed over in this video, yet it could have been easily fixed. You see in Ever After High the first clip indicates that multiple generations have passed since the first story. So the best way to meld the universes is to say that Descendants came before Ever After High.
Oh.. this is a great way to explain it because I see comparisons everywhere. So, time wise, descendents would be right after the original stories and eah would be a minimum of.... At least great-grandchildren of the original stories since there are no descendents names mentioned among the parents. This helps the storylines greatly.
Lady Arcane if u have watched ever after u would know they have villains and magic to. The story line of ever after is very interesting and fun to watch. But I would agree that it would be hard to mesh them both together .

I think descendants just got inspired by EAH i wouldn't call it copying cause there's alot of differences and descendants would have been taken down if its copy and its different too because Descendants is from disney and based off from their stories/fairytales that isnt dark while EAH is From Mattel and connected to the original stories that is dark and based off of The Grimm Brothers stories

Remember that ever after high is based on the Grimm tales, and not purely Disney as descendants is. And Hopper isn’t Tirana’s son, he is the frog prince’s son from a tale, where this princess has to kiss this frog for some reason and tiaras story and movie is based of this tale, but Hopper is from that tale, not the movie.

Oh.. this is a great way to explain it because I see comparisons everywhere. So, time wise, descendents would be right after the original stories and eah would be a minimum of.... At least great-grandchildren of the original stories since there are no descendents names mentioned among the parents. This helps the storylines greatly.
Lady Arcane if u have watched ever after u would know they have villains and magic to. The story line of ever after is very interesting and fun to watch. But I would agree that it would be hard to mesh them both together .

I think it is because hopper is based on the brothers grimm version and not the disney version.

I think descendants just got inspired by EAH i wouldn't call it copying cause there's alot of differences and descendants would have been taken down if its copy and its different too because Descendants is from disney and based off from their stories/fairytales that isnt dark while EAH is From Mattel and connected to the original stories that is dark and based off of The Grimm Brothers stories

@@cookieuwu15 Mattel would have been sued big times if they have based any of their characters on the Disney movies. So using the OG tales as a reference was actually a really smart move. And personally I prefer this, it reminds me of when I was younger and my mother would read me fairytales before going to sleep.

Remember that ever after high is based on the Grimm tales, and not purely Disney as descendants is. And Hopper isn’t Tirana’s son, he is the frog prince’s son from a tale, where this princess has to kiss this frog for some reason and tiaras story and movie is based of this tale, but Hopper is from that tale, not the movie.
