Steering Head Bearing Replacement on a Benelli 1130 TnT - Part 2

This week I use a Mig welder to remove the steering head bearing shells on my 2006 Benelli 1130 TnT. Welding shrinks the bearing shells allowing them to be removed easily.

*Note - Remember to remove any sensitive electronics before welding such the ECU, instruments etc.

Well done Mike. I hope you managed the upside down welding without getting red hot spatter down the neck of your shirt. I know about that from painful experience! 😁

Fortunately I could weld it without getting right underneath so I avoided any spatter.
