I have never heard of these guys. CZcams kept popping this up on my home page like 3-4 times in a row so I figured I'd give it a listen even though it only had 79 views. Man, this is pretty good! I'm gonna check out more of their stuff for sure.
Welcome to the rabbit hole that is Karnivool. Their music is a journey. You must start way back at earliest releases and roll through. Begin at Persona > Theamata > Sound Awake > Assymmetry. Sound Awake is possibly one of the greatest albums ever recorded. It is pure perfection from start to end.

I heard a bit of the studio recorded version of this on a promo for them when they were coming to perform in Dubai ! It's out there just don't know where!!
You and me both, mate! I remember seeing them say in an interview a while back that they sit on new songs and sculpt them until the band feels that they’re done. Looking at a version of this song performed +12 months ago, it has changed a bit. I guess their process is very slow because they’re all perfectionists.
In the Sydney monolith show they said as long as their fans keep supporting them they’re gonna keep writing new music and touring so it sounds like something’s in the works! Good things come to those who wait
@@rnodern Honestly, i get that its art but i think at this point its almost a disservice to them AND the music. This really sounds NO different than the one we heard years ago! So I think that's a bit of an excuse and they just seem to have a hard to releasing music.

Apparently.... During their UK tour it was said they are not making enough money to continue touring...

I was at the center of that crowd near the front fucking phenomenal to finally see these guys
this was the best show ive seen them play, and one of the best shows ive ever been to.
