- Gilda's Club in Westchester is a free cancer-support organization in White Plains, New York that provides services to anyone impacted by cancer. Gilda's Club has been in operation since 2001 and has been loved so much it has endured its own share of wear and tear. George Oliphant hopes to create a space for further community support.

Every Sunday I watch George to the Rescue while I ride my exercise bike....I never notcie the time and love all the generosity of spirit and joy.
I was in High School when I met Gilda through the show, Saturday Night Live
On my television, each weekend, I got to spend time with her and Jane and these two women are fantastic!!!!!! Great comedians and amazing women…
I cried when she died….
And I’ve never even met her…
I’ll never forget her comedic genius and her compassion and her SMILE!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
PS…there should be a Gildas Club in every city across the world.

I served in the cancer care community for many years as a volunteer and social worker in Arizona, Indiana, California, and Hawai'i and watched Gilda on SNL beginning with the first show. Best wishes from Cambodia.

I know how frozen you get in the anxiety, with your first diagnosis, waiting for scan results, listening to a doctor rattle off survival statistics, etc. A place and people like this would be so great and try to spread it here in Arizona. I had a resource to get rides, but nowhere to meet other patients in positive circumstances, only when they didn't feel good.

Holy cow…can’t believe I’m saying this again….but I think this is my favorite episode! (I say that a lot) But remembering when we lost Gilda at such a young age to such a horrific cancer, made me cry all over again. Loved her so much. The fact that she left this legacy is AMAZING!
