I’ve been looking for something like this. Simple short and sweet. Most videos were over an hour long. Yours was perfect. I know they say with group bookings to book 12-18 months out so you have enough time to promote and advertise. I am pretty new and I’m thinking about doing this for 2024. Any tips or advised for a newbie (I’ve booked several individual rooms already)
Glad it helped! My tip for groups is to never tell them what amenities are included until you have secured more than enough cabins for that specific amenity

I loved your explanation of how to do this. It gave me ideas on how to use the quote feature to see the price, instead of having to input fake customer data to see the final price. This was super helpful I appreciate it however I think I’m still a bit confused about the deposit portion that you were about to mention before you realize the computer was dying. On that screen it says you have to pay $300 but you say you only need to pay the deposit Carnival how do you actually pull the cabins into the group booking?
You have to go by the numbers on your contract. Call carnival and the Group’s department will walk you through step by step
How would you go about advertising this booking? Do you have videos on promoting the trips once you have the quote put together?

When booking a Group and you choose double occupancy cabins, can you go within that same booking and book a cabin with three or more? I have had it done via calling in but wanted to know if you have gone into your group and but other type of cabins other than what you have held.
That would be different pricing. Call the cruise line for pricing

Hey..so the only way to get an accurate quote is to go all the way through to berthing and then get a quote?
Yes unless you want to look at your contract and add numbers from there but I’d rather see it on the berthing page just in case something is different
Questions: If you booked 24 cabins, does the group still qualify for the group photo, even if states a minimum of 25 cabins need to be booked? Also, does each cabin receive 1 free group photo?
This is a question for the supplier as each boat has different requirements. Call the groups department
As an agent you book 8 rooms or more can you use for free room (16 rooms under group) during the same cruise or do you have to use it on a future cruise?
Its depending on the contract. You have to look at each cruise lines contract. hope that this helps
