    It seems you changed out your Ego battery for something else... reasons why?
    I had a 36v electric mini bike project with plans to run the Ego batteries I have.

      Alexander Jones unfortunately it ended up frying our controller.

    Build one that seats like a crouch rocket.... where you are basically laying on the fuel tank instead of like a chopper....

    Not to be confused with the electric monocle (I sort of mis-read the title at first)

    I wonder if this would be easier with a wider ring, I am going to build one with my son & find out!

    I was just about to comment on how similar your neighborhood looks like Blaine County in GTA V, and then I saw the "wasted" card. By the way, how much did it cost to build this in the end (aside from the mistakes and your labor/hard work)?

    • @DavidsDreamFactory
      @DavidsDreamFactory  Před 2 lety

      lol, just north of my place it really feels like gta 5. I think it was all under 300 but that's because I already had the outer wheel

    • @partyguy101ify
      @partyguy101ify Před 2 lety

      @@DavidsDreamFactory Wow, aside from the outer wheel, I would have guessed something like $1,500 because of the motor.

    Hi, Just found this and want to build one. Did you use a steel or aluminum CYR wheel?
    How is the original build holding up? Thanks....

    • @DavidsDreamFactory
      @DavidsDreamFactory  Před 3 lety

      I used a one piece aluminum cyr that I had lying around... It held up well but the wheel was made a little poorly so it isn't perfectly round

    • @kensmith7525
      @kensmith7525 Před 3 lety +1

      @@DavidsDreamFactory Thanks, two more things. What is the diameter (ie. width) of the CYR wheel and it
      looks like you riveted the tires on? Any other high level advice you can offer?

    • @DavidsDreamFactory
      @DavidsDreamFactory  Před 2 lety

      @@kensmith7525 It was 6'1 Inside diameter and riveting the tires on worked quite well... Biggest advice is start with a round wheel.. We had to make some compromises because it wasn't perfectly round and it limited our top speed.

    Everyone is USING THIS WRONG. I had the perfect idea - PUT ON ROLLERSKATES/WHEELIES.
    Think. I've seen people ride these - What do they all do when they're going slow? PUT THEIR FEET OUT. GLIDE THEIR FEET FOR CONTROL.
    So.. put on rollerskates. Don't try to avoid using your feet, use them like training wheels.
    You might even be able to turn better - You can turn more like a bike, you can potentially lean your weight left and right. It's perfect IMO.
    Nobody has tried this yet. Maybe you will see my comment - Please try this and get back to me.
