I’m still temporarily in the UK, my hiatus from life in thailand and my beautiful off grid farm.

It's colder than normal this year down here in Somerset, but it looks positively bleak where you are. I can see (south) Wales from where we live, but I suppose if you can see Scotland, you're about as far north as civilisation reaches. Get a snap of a polar bear next time you see one. Remember - every day you do there is about ten days more you can be in Thailand without worrying about money.
2.90 surprised me. What a bargain. Got myself a 2 scoop cone at Swensen's in Bangkok the other day, was 130 THB..

It's good to see you haven't lost your DIY skills since you left Thailand Ben (Bamboo Bridge anyone 😉). If that's the state of the 500-odd-year-old attic, you'd better hope the roof outside is in better nick, otherwise you could be waking up to a beautiful blue sky...literally!

Indeed 8 weeks I was the same by 12 weeks I was bugger it next flight home. But both places are home just my girls are in Japan and home is in Australia like you to very different cultures with their own cons and pros 😂
