    If you read Dmitry's bio, he speaks 6 (I think) different languages. The ones I know for certain are: German, Russian, English. When you know different languages with different pronunciations/accents, you begin to get a mixed accent. My cousin speaks French, Russian, Italian, and Japanese. It creates quite an awkward accent.

    • @Trooper--pk8fx
      @Trooper--pk8fx Před 9 lety +14

      Very late comment, but, when he originally wrote the story, showed it to publishers, and posted it online, Artyom died mid way through. After the book became popular enough and several fans begged him to rewrite it to where Artyom lives and fulfils his task. Basically: The original version, Artyom dies in the middle of the story. In the final version, the one published into an actual physical book, Artyom lives to complete his quest.
