In this Scratch video, I challenge myself to make a Rhythm game in 30 minutes. This game is inspired by Friday Night Funkin'.

As someone who has been making scratch games for 2 years, A rhythm game in 30 minutes is good, ive done in 10 minutes but it sucked. I dont like how fnf is treated as the only rhythm game

how do i make it so it will detect when a sprite is moveing in the direction another sprite is facing?

Check if the direction's of the two sprites are similar and the velocity > 0! :D

I'm doing something very similar and after like 30 seconds the amount of arrows that pops down decreases to only 3-4, and makes it really boring, do you know why that happens??

Actually, I've just noticed it also happens for your game, after 40-50 seconds the frequency in which the arrows appear decreases. I'm trying to make the game on top of a song of around 2:30 minutes, do you know why that can be? I'm sure what exactly controls the frequency in which they appear, it seems that's what would need to be made longer

Are you sure you put the code that makes it fade/ change size in the correct spot?

also I was wondering, do you need a second or third variable for when you have two notes at the same time? (the arrows)

Nice video! Now all you have to do is make is sync up to music, which is really difficult and tedious beacuse of the way Scratch handles timings. You have to do some stuff with the timer and a list full of beat times (you can find the code on the scratch forums somewhere) which is predetermined before the project starts; which is really annoying to figure out but it does work lol.
