Let me introduce my self. I don't know what I want to do. I have studies irrelevant degree to what I am currently consulting. Still don't know what I want to do. It was good decision to do consulting as you don't know what you do and no one else know what you do they just hire you because they do not know what they do.
It is almost the same job description as to work for NASA: they don't know what they do and no one else does. Does potatoes grows on Mars?

It has always seemed a bit strange to me how young people like these, with very little practical, field experience, get hired as consultants.
Yeah, I was thinking about that too. I just wonder how many of them own a company and made it successful. I am 31 year old guy who is a bachelor at Business Administration. During last 2 years I started 2 new business and both failed. This makes me think that now I could be a way better consultant than these guys. Lol.
In many cases, consultant teams are hired, not individuals assigned to analyze problems, so the young complement other experienced team members. Much of these analysis are metrics based with a justification based on statistics and statistical analysis, so young people out of school play a role in that. But its about creating a team with diverse experience, and grooming the young for future roles and a long term outlook and approach. Keeping the pipeline flowing.
