Tbh I'm happy with this fight. Perfect fight for Azim to set up for Dalton Smith. Dalton Smith just beat Zepeda so at the moment his resume is miles better than Azim. Eubank is a big enough name/talent that their resume will be more equal come the fight between Eubank and Azim.

They don’t want to take the risk, they just need to admit it rather than playing games. Harlem is no where near Zepeda tho so resume won’t be the same. Azim wins this easy tho. I actually think Azim gives dalton huge problems and potentially beats him but the games from boxxer is terrible. They don’t want to risk having Adam Azim on another platform. Can't help but think azim might have chin problems. He may be getting tarred with that amir khan effect but they have kept him away from anyone with remote power so far. Eubank also isn't a big puncher so he may be ok here.

if they were similar age i would say it's a duck. but considering one is 27 years old and the other is 21. this fight makes zero sense unless u are dalton smith. in 2 years time this fight makes sense for azim. right now it's too soon for azim
Everyone knows Azim is not experienced and seasoned enough for Dalton Smith. The lad needs more fights at this level against the likes of Harlem etc to accomplish that because what was Dalton doing at 11-0? There you go. Hearn calls Smith a "world-level fighter" so why doesn't he push him to fight other world-level fighters in their prime instead of 21-year-old 11-0 prospect? 😂😂😂 The fight between the two will obviously happen but the timing isn't right because Smith and Hearn want to catch Azim early.
They want him early so they can beat him easily rather than as you said, allow him to gain some experience so he can have a chance at beating Dalton.

@kanebobbin That's the best way to gain experience. The route he's taken is fine. Dalton should be pushing for world titles and world class fighters now. In his own words he dropping levels to fight azim. Had azim not held ebu title they wouldn't have bothered.

Harlem is one of the most promising boxers to come out of this country. His skills will carry him to the higher level of the division and even beat some of the better fighters. Adam is taking more than he’s ready for in this stage

@stubrown7766 adam isn't fighting dalton even though its mandatory and dalton had the British and a wbc title. Harlem vs benn was being built up due to issues with eubank Jr's weight. Benn and harlem are naturally welterweight and have the family history behind it. Harlem also unfortunately hasn't done much yet in boxing. So it's weird why this fight might happen. I would argue harlem is more dangerous than dalton Smith.
