    Baseball has a gambling problem. A huge one. This isn’t a new issue, just one that’s been swept under the rug and continues every year whenever there’s a new incident regarding a player, a coach, or anyone that has the power to affect the outcome of an actual baseball game. This has been happening throughout MLB history, incidents involving gambling and game rigging being seen as early as the 20th century with incidents like the Black Sox scandal, Pete Rose and most recently Shohei Ohtani. Despite all of these scandals, MLB is promoting gambling more than ever. The MLB has Partnered with Sportbooks like Fanduel, smeared gambling logos across stadiums and online advertisements and some MLB stadiums have even installed betting booths.

    If you've already seen this video, I was hit with a copyright claim on April 15th and I unlisted it. I've edited it slightly, got rid of the claims and it's back up. I saw Baseball Doesnt Exist uploaded a similar video yesterday which is unfortunate timing lmao. If you're enjoying my videos, please consider subscribing! My best videos are coming out soon.

    On every broadcast they talk about betting lines nonstop and then get surprised when it becomes a problem. FAFO.

    I no longer trust that the pro sports are legitimate. Sportscenter has segments about gambling and they list gambling odds on graphics. Before some games, they have gambling PSAs. Gambling ads all over the place. For me, that was too much. Other than friend get togethers, I have stopped watching baseball and pro sports in general. Over the past couple of years hearing the stories of players gambling and manipulating outcomes, I know I made the right decision.
    I used to be a diehard Giants fan, attending multiple games every year and watching as many as I could at home. Today, I could not name a player on their roster. And, I don't know how many game I watched that had a manipulated or choreographed outcome.

    I just hope they'll go full Adam Silver and ban only those that gamble... A little bit too much.

    Is it just me or did this scandal come out like them saying how cool ohtani was for paying his friends debt? How did it actually break does anyone know? Why hasn’t anyone posted about it

    • @silmarian
      @silmarian Před měsícem

      It broke because the Feds were closing in on the bookie Ippei was in debt to. There’s actually several videos about it out there.

    I’m not understanding why you make it sound like there’s a reasonable doubt about Ohtani’s case. The DOJ, FBI, IRS and U.S. Attorney gave a clear statement that Ohtani was a victim. I like your stance on Gambling, but insincere take on Ohtani and bad look for baseball that we still have guys like you casting doubt on Ohtani.

      He said "seemingly innocent". What you need more? A love letter and video of worshipping Ohtani? Excuse me, but not everybody is naive like you. And there is no doubt about it: Ohtani is the gambler. His (former) friend the fall guy. A soon to be rich fall guy.
      If Ohtani was innocent, he would sue the bank for allowing bank account fraud, the news outlets for libel, and his lackey would face 40 years of prison for theft. Nothing like this gonna happen, because Ohtani is the gambler. It was a pleasure for me to inform you about the facts.
      Do sports yourself, then you dont need to worship false heros as substitute for activity.

      @@FoxxyBrown1111 Your insecurity and musk is apparent. I’ll help you off your knees with this advice. Read the full 37 page complaint. If you still believe the DOJ, IRS, FBI and U.S. Attorney colluded to help a foreign national, you need to clean the Cheeto dust off your pants and give your phone back to your mother. Losing a few pounds will benefit you too. For your sake, I have muted you. Good bye.

      I actually put mine out before him on April 13th. It was hit with a copyright claim and I've reditted mine, just unfortunate timing. I'm not able to edit a whole video like this in under 24 hours from his release
