This is a great idea. I have wanted to find a “compromise” position on smartphones and this comes pretty dang close to it

PERFECT! More and more people will want that! Two reasons : 1 safety (I live in Brazil and phone are stolen every 2 minutes... and robbers search to access your bank app
2 having a life back... we became customers in this century... customers for everything, this obkect is one step forward of having our freedom back.

Technically yes. They have to enable that feature. Stock apps are not blocked like calls and SMS.

Yeah. If you want to "cheat on it" you can. I recommend a different solution if that's the case.

Many android phones can read nfc. If some developer comes forward I'm sure we can get it on android

Or you can just not open the app. The brick is used if you want to use it, if you want to be distracted you’ll unlock your phone
just buy an iPhone 6 with little app support
that would be a good punishment for kids
This is not a great Idea, I know what happened to me when I turned on parental control and my parent's phone went missing. My phone is just absolute garbage with no access to everything, if you want to buy this I know you don't wanna lose it
