I MISS GENUINELY FUNNY, CAMPY SHOWS LIKE THIS!! Heck The Nanny was quite unique for it's time tbh. Also, this is one of very few where I NEVER skip the intro (Psych is another one), so good.
Back in the day, I remember hearing Fran Drescher got her first Emmy nomination for ‘Nanny’ and thinking: “a nom for a one-dimensional role like that?” My bad. Then I took a good look at the series and her performances. Like Lucy, she’s a whip-smart lady who is such a good actress that she’s convincing when she plays dumb. She is one talented lady.
Billions of laughs from multiple generations and still going like the Energizer bunny… Thank you for the time of our lives x30! We love y’all Fran, Charles, Lauren, Daniel, Renee, Rachel, Nicholle, Benjamin, Madeline, and Ann (RIP)! ❤
