I've watched this numerous times (I have the boxed set). It is the sheer speed with which the goals came that gets me every time: I don't remember the Swans ever scoring at that rate. Watch it in real time from Schneider's first goal to his last and see how quickly the Saints went from likely grand finalists to also-rans. An all team effort that to me is even better than the previous week's solo heroics.

Was about 15 rows behind the goals for the barrage heading our way. was about 5 degrees that night, but all the fist pumping and high fiving in the crowd warmed us up.
At 3 qtr some saints fans in the standing in the outer starting singing their song since they were 7 points up! Needless to say we let the bloods do the talking. After watching that quarter I knew there was no way of stopping us to the flag.

Love this video. Totally mauled the Saints in the last term, 7 goals in 11 minutes. I wish they didn't shut down in the last 8 mins and just added another 5 goals to put them under. Imagine that, 12 goals to 1 behind lol. Still, this was epic.

Ah I dunno about that. I kinda like all-out domination as opposed to a close win. My heart can no longer take it following this great team.

Ah well. No matter. We got what we wanted in the end.
Swans kicked 7 goals straight after the game left their boots in the dressing room a week later kicked 2 goals 5 behinds in the last quarter and had to go in too and come out off new rooms at the grand final couldn't access the boots that kicked 7 goals in a row sarcasm
It was good. But not a patch on Nick Davis' effort in the last quarter the week before i reckon.
