I found Ep2 to be completely unwatchable. Terrible dialog, bad acting, AWFUL CG (looks like a video game) and Obi-wans Mullet. The only good thing about this movie is John Williams score.

Chances are though, the movies would have been even harder to sit through without Ben's involvement. Really such a tragedy though. Everybody gives their utmost effort, probably even George, but basically they can't help but bake and polish a smelly turd.

I think, as much credit as George deserves for everything, he does too much to stifle the influence of all the talented artists that worked on these movies. There's seriously so much time, effort, and skill that went into making every movie, there's no reason they should be anything less than incredible. I think he probably should have been less rigid when it comes to the creative freedom of everyone involved.

Nobody else had any right to question him, because he was the one that wrote the script and paid their salaries. If you were an architect that designed the blueprints for your own house but needed to pay people to build it, would you let a carpenter lecture you on the design that you worked years on?
