So far Knocked Loose and The Story So Far are the only two bands on the bigger stage that I saw that had audiences actually getting into it vs just standing and filming with their phones.

Most of the bands I saw had pits but I went on the 29th could’ve just been that it was a completely different crowd, there was maybe like 2-3 bands I saw that didn’t have one in fact the bands kept telling the crowd to open the shit up lol
29th was all pits all day long. Four Year Strong was an amazing set with non stop crowd surfing that was genuinely so much fun.
nothing tells you you're nearing 30 more than jumping into a knocked loose pit "for old time's sake" and immediately breaking your nose and getting concussed.. something that totally didn't happen to me last month

The level of restraint and professionalism during that moment by the band was INSANE.

Knocked loose was really the only hardcore band there right. What a great opportunity for them and the crowd. The vibe just seems different from other festivals they were at.

Most of the time I go in the pit to mosh and 2 step but the vibe was different since it was Vegas, going to be cold at night and it was an emo festival, so I stayed back with my girl and enjoyed it lmao

@@Bloodborne900 god damn it man I’m going to sick new world & really thought I’d be able to do karate in the pit for body count & turnstile at least but it’s probably just gonna be a bunch of push moshers huh, smh so fuckin lame man I feel like the pits are gonna be really disappointing for me because I hate push moshing but I especially fucking despise circle pitting because it actually hurts my back & shoulder blades soooooooooo much fuckin more than getting punched super hard during a real beatdown pit ever does, getting punched hurts for a millisecond & honestly not even then really, but getting huge ass dudes repeatedly shoves their wrist bones & elbows into ur back as they get pushed down in a circle or push pit will literally have my body feeling like I got jumped but the main problem at the end of the day is that push & circle moshing just looks really fuckin stupid & gay & lame & like some f@ggot poser shit (I’m gay & have a boyfriend who I love very much so I can say it😂) despite the fact that they always hurt more the next day than beatdown hardcore pits ever having me hurting the day after which in comparison literally just look like a fight. So I’m at the point where the way I see it is if u can’t get socked in the face it’s not a real mosh pit to Lmao & I hate to sound like an immature elitist meathead man child who doesn’t even Mosh & only crowd kills because that’s now who I am I’m not some tough guy I’m a 5 foot 4 scrawny gay Mexican dude who weighs 115 pounds & my shoulders were dislocated for 3 years & never healed right so I couldn’t throw a punch to save my life LMAO, but I just feel like circle & push moshing still being the dominant form of dancing at heavy music shows is so fuckin lame & irritating & boring because the lack of danger completely takes the fun out of it & basically defeats the entire purpose of a mosh pit to me honestly. like if I went to a knocked loose show anywhere Idc how mainstream of a festival they’re at like how they’re playing Coachella soon & people only wanted to push Mosh & circle pit & there was no giant ass dudes 2 or 3 times my size that could potentially knock me out on accident it’d actually like completely fuckin ruin the show for me & would genuinely probably be one of the most disappointing concert experiences of my life & I’m not even kidding that’s how much getting punched & punching people in the pit means to me🤣

Green hair, beige Knocked Loose Shirt here. Flew out from Pittsburgh specifically for Knocked Loose and a few days in Vegas, rest of the festival was just a bonus. This was honestly one of the best times I've had a Knocked Loose show ever.

For an emo festival, this crowd looks infinitely more fun than the ones on the BMTH tour we went to.

@@samesparza2149 well I can’t speak from personal experience since I haven’t been to a KL show in person sadly, but with all the live sets I’ve seen online (and I’ve seen a lot). This is actually surprisingly really good. A lot of crowd participation, didn’t really matter if it wasn’t ‘hard core’ per say but everybody was moving and even screaming some of the lyrics.

The energy that day was I don't know who else to put it but it was wholesome everyone got along with everyone I felt like everyone was my friend such a beautiful community that's still able to loose their shit and get down to some good ass music so very glad I got to experience this set and this day overall

I missed Knocked Loose to see Jimmy Eat World because I had never heard of Knocked Loose, but damn this crowd is awesome! Wish I could’ve been here for this. I saw their singer perform Slaughterhouse with Motionless in White though and that was one of the most epic moments of my whole day!

looks like the pit was a bad mix of people about that life and not so much. I hate when everyone in the pit is not on the same page, when some people want to swing and others don't it makes for a pretty shitty situation.
The pit sucks when some dude is looking to actually hit and hurt people. I've been moshing for many, many years and it's all about aggressive dancing and pushing people to the energy of the song. If you got some knob in there actually tackling and punching people it just sucks. Especially if they are doing it to people at the edges who have not consented to the pit. Also, if someone falls you stop what you are doing and pick them up no questions full stop.
People not following the rules is what gets mosh pits banned at some venues. I mean if you take a random elbow that's just how it goes but keep the fucking MMA out.
