    I really enjoy your videos because you are the only one doing the RX4. I have had mine for over a month. It has taken me a while to warm up to this bike. I am only 5’9” with 30” inseam so with the stock seat it was tall for me. I got the narrow seat from CSC and it helps . At 366 miles my speedometer and odometer stopped working. CSC sent a new sensor to me but none of my local mechanics wanted to work on it. So even though the warranty is parts and labor some shops just don’t want to work on a Chinese motorcycle. I haven’t put the new sensor on because it is already 102 near Phoenix and I don’t really need to sweat in my garage for hours. I am going to California for the summer and I am going to tow the bike. I go right through Azusa so I might have them do it if it doesn’t take long. Following up the new sensor didn’t change anything. Ended up trailering the bike to Azusa. They had it fixed in 30 minutes. Turned out it was a loose wire which I never would have found.

    Thanks for a nice HONEST review. On real world conditions. Without any major mods.

    I am seriously considering the RX4 has a commuter bike. I live on a dirt road and I have to travel to work on some highway and 2 lane and this seems like a good all-round bike. I have had everything from a CM200 all the way up to a Gold Wing and prefer the lighter small displacement bikes. Thanks for showing what the RX4 can do.

    Just purchased a 2015 rx3 csc cyclone adventure bike from a gentleman off of the marketplace and im super inlove. I'm so excited to ride. Super motivated and excited to hop on, the only thing is I broke my back n ribs in a horrendous car accident on the highway where I got rear ended by some guy going 70, just excited to be on the road soon. I'm a fan of the super moto tires. The rx3 comes stock with the knobbies lol, but thanks for posting keep it up. Love the vids

    Interesting bikes these Zongshen Cyclone, i tried the RX3 250cc 2 years ago, and just yesterday i tried the RX3s 377cc, i had the same thing on the ABS off switching off the speedometer, but i found the bike to be quite good, cheers from Bali, Indonesia

    I also have a tt250 in California. I liked that immediately but it is not a Highway motorcycle. I also have a Harley Sportster here in Arizona.

    My preference would be to swap this Rx4 engine into the TT250 frame ...

    Have you done any 2 up riding and if so how did the bike handle?

    How do you think this would perform with a passenger and some luggage?

    That ABS/Speedo thing is weird, do they require a new wire ran? Or just reconfig current circuit?

      No idea... Twas too much work for me to understand the rewire so I decided to be lazy and not to

      @@georginglis423 Thank you for pointing that out. After a cursory search; I am unable to find this about the RX4 or others. Man, your doing "first's and only's". Quite a rare achievement in this age.

    How do you pump the tire pressure back when going back on paved roads?

    • @georginglis423
      @georginglis423  Před 4 lety +2

      I use a small bike pump that is stored in my tank bag. www.rei.com/product/735866/topeak-mini-morph-pump

    If more travel is being used, like when riding off road compared to on road, you should want more rebound damping (given that the same spring rate is being used). I'm not sure if you're running too stiff on the road or too loose in the dirt, but do some experimentation; you'll be happy you did.
    You should also try going a bit lower on air pressure...18 to 20.

      I've been experimenting a good bit with the suspension. Generally, I like to run it pretty stiff on the road (especially since I have extra weight on the bike from either my gear or a passenger) and pretty loose off road. I will say that when I'm riding in large rocky terrain, I stiffen up the front so I don't bottom it out.
      Tire pressure is something I am still experimenting with. My mechanic said not to run it too low with the current stock tires since their side walls are not that stiff. I bent my rim on my first hard ride due to hitting a 8" protruding rock at 20mph with my front tire pressure at 16. As soon as i get my Shinko 805's on there, I'll start experimenting with pressure below 20 again.
      Thanks for looking out!

      I know suspension quite well from my mountain biking experience. I know adjusting dampening doesn't effect the stroke length, but it does effect the force needed to fully compress the suspension. I try to set the rebound so that i push my suspension to it's limits without bottoming out but I'm still getting the feel for it. On my mountain bike, I never had to worry about how much gas was in the tank, the large amount of gear I carry, and having instant acceleration to assist with suspension (or hurt suspension depending on how you use it)

    For me this is perfect as my adventures will be mostly dirt road and not much else. Too much nerve damage

    Yo Justin, How is this thing on the freeway. Does it have deacent passing power. Im having a hard time deciding, On wether to get this or RX3. I'm looking at this for a work commuter. / Weekend backroad explorer. /Occasional long roadtrip bike. Also I'm not a tall guy. So how would this be for someone, say 5,6 with a 29 inseem. Who weighs a buck fiffty eight.

    • @georginglis423
      @georginglis423  Před 4 lety +2

      Freeway this thing is great. Decent passing power until 80mph, after that, it takes 10 seconds to increase to 95mph.
      I would say go for the RX4 over the 3. the 3 is not that much lighter but has a lot less power

    Those adjustments do not soften your suspension at all. thats not what those settings are for
