Haven’t gotten the marvel on but more interactions and diversity was clearly needed in the disney version (that I thoroughly love)
Visually, I think the disney one beats the other two, in terms of card art and busts. I also love the style they went for with busts and I will fight you to the death for them!
What other star wars villains are you anticipating ? I am surprised they didn’t go with the emperor though, come to think of it, the fact he’s the villain for the whole of the skywalker saga makes it quite hard to simplify it into a single game goal. Jabba is probably coming, and I would expect a clone wars maul as well. Maybe Thrawn for Rebels? Krennic/Tarkin for Rogue One? We’ll probably get things from the newer tv shows, like Moff Gideon
As a fan of Disney and Marvel (my family plays Marvel much more often due to the better interactivity) I am intrigued and excited with this one.
Yeah Marvel looks great. I have all the Disney content and haven't been able to play it with anyone but my partner, so it's hard to justify buying into all 3 systems.
My bf loves this game.

To be fair, Vader's objective is to "Defeat" Luke, not kill Luke. You could argue that turning Luke to the dark side is also defeating him.
Love it, wife got the Disney Villainous last christmas and we love it so much we got the expansions as well so i'm looking forward to this. Also while im here thank you for all the content over the years and if you and Justin fancy getting back into MTG content at some point i wouldn't complain XD

6:07 didn't know that the rebellion recruited mermaids, but I shouldn't have been surprised. If you think about it Mon Calamari are reverse mermaids, with the fish on the top and the 'man' on the bottom, so of course somewhere in the galaxy there would be the regular kind.
My partner seems to be really interested in Disney Villainous but I'm not sure. Does anyone know if you can mix and match the versions, can I play a Star Wars Villain while she plays a Disney Villain, or will that break things?
If it is like Marvel Villianous, you could make it work - but I don't know how balanced they would be.
I would guess no... There are deck combining mechanics in Marvel (and I assume Star Wars) which wouldn't translate between the games.
I noticed this game a few days ago via BGG!
Disney Villainous got stale for me very quickly because they keep releasing boring villains with their good ones (because they need to pad their releases), and Marvel Villainous just felt boring from the start. But I'm really excited that we're getting a Star Wars version because Star Wars villains are waaaay better (at least in my opinion).
