I first heard about these a few weeks ago and laughed so much at the thought of it. Seeing it in action is even funnier. I love hearing everyone sing together. Not sure it's a better way to party but it's different which I love.
Silent concerts are a very good idea- especially for people like me- who is sensitive to sound in such a way that I can’t take a regular concert, as the noise will send me into a panic attack or an episode, but I can take headphones in my ears listening to music most of the time.
You could try in ear music headphones which filter out some of the high frequencies. I use them too. They make the music a few decibles more quiet as well. I could never go to a party without them. This makes me feel way better on the next morning. No hedeache/numb head
plus fixes many problems having a booming music that will most likely piss off people that doesn't want noises or people that are a bit more sensitive in audio etc...
Nothing wrong with having something different but they got the nerve to call it a quiet club thats what disturb people. The title got me like"🤔wait 😱 what.
it'd be more appealing if the whole crowd didn't treat it like a karaoke night. Great concept tho if you got the right variety of DJs playing stuff for your nationality. no need for multiple floors/rooms. I think, tho, that there should be a display screen on the wall for each DJ showing the current track info. That way, if I'm listening to DJ #2 and his set has become ....okay, but DJ #1 has my fave jam starting, I will know and can switch just in time.
TheRedGameboy we do have themed night's like all Latin music where people sing less or all EDM where there's no singing at all. however we do find if there is one of the three stations that does have music to sing along to, it makes it much more funny when you take your headphones off to listen to.
@@QuietEvents which "original" club would that be then ? And your also saying that all music started off being played in clubs. That's a very bold statement please provide evidence and sources. I would LOVE THIS just one thing I would be nervous because if everyone was listening to one channel and I was like the only one listening to something else
I've had a silent disco in my school one time. I didn't even realise I was singing. There was different channels of music so I chose the emo/alternative channel cuz I like that music. And me and my friends always listen to that music too so we were both singing along without realizing it 💀
Excellent idea, even when wearing earplugs in a nightclub its way too loud and I'm worried for the people around me who don't wear earplugs. This is a great solution, everyone can decide the volume for themselves
I thought the point of silent discos was to be able to let people with sensory disorders, anxiety and such a chance to enjoy the party but being able to be in a quiet atmosphere? If people are going to be loud why have the headphones in the first place, Im genuinely curious.
Sign of the times! Because there’s so many got damn “Karen’s” out there now calling the cops on kids that just wanna party and have a good time this is the weird shit folks have to do now to have fun.
I think I would love to try this bc if you can control the volume in your headphones maybe I could enjoy a club again with my migraines. I haven’t been able to go to loud places in 8 years!!
There is a video going around with just the sound of squeaking sneakers and no other sound and seemed really fake… this looks like a realistic version and tbh looks better.
So instead of loud music done by professionals, not there is even louder screaming by a bunch of William Hungs? I think I would rather have the music playing.
Their singing would encourage me to wear the headphones.
We bet you'd be that guy screaming at the top of his lungs to "Don't stop believing"

It is cool. You can actually talk with someone just by taking down your headphones or lowering volume instead of shouting all the time.

No, kills the whole vibe
But shouting is part of the experience
That’s part of the experience it’s the best part even if you go home with a raspy voice sounding liek playboi carti on his new album even that’s fun
I honestly think this is part of the experience
What would be funny if all headsets were receiving different songs 🤣
Each color is receiving different songs!!!
That’s the point lol
That's whats going on at 0:50. Note the color of the crowds and DJs headphones. At this moment, the green DJ is winning the crowd over.
It’s weird seeing people so close together like this. It feels like we took life for granted

It's amazing for everyone! Thanks for sharing!
Wow facts me too. Thats why ive always enjoyed the silence of making the music in the studio and hearing it back in the headphones
Agreed. And it’s great for a friend group with different tastes in music.
Same. Although, it's not so much a panic attack as much as I get a headache from sustained, loud music.

Pop song's in a nightclub is just tragic.
You do know that the original club was where all of the music started from before it became mainstream right?

haha.. nope.. is for anyone regardless if they have sensory disorders OR love loud music in da club! check out the events at quietevents.com
Not at all. Silent discos are actually for people to make as much noise as possible and not feel like an idiot. It's karaoke on steroids!
Oh I thought this was QUIET clubbing
So it's basically karaoke. I wouldn't be caught dead in a club like this. Call me old-fashioned lol but i have to feel the bass
Cool! good Idia but still hear the crazy loud noise of the crowd. I think it"s better to put also a noise-proof in their mouth too.

"Silent???" Just shouting without music...
That one mf who couldnt get his headphones to work at the start
Every night someone comes to us and says... My headphones don't work... We then turn up the volume and give it back to them.. we fixed it..
Im still calling the cops
Can someone edit this and reupload without the headphones please?

This idea has in fact been applied to concerts. It really doesn't seem that common though, considering the obvious advantages.
They follow it Rio and ibitza
why not just have music without headphones just not so loud
'quiet'
