    My wife and I are signed up the the Arizona three wheel course in May. We're both so excited, going to get our three wheel endorsements and then go buy two if the 2022 Ryker sports.

    I love the Brembo brakes on the Spyder. They will stop you on a hair.

    so we took the course this past weekend and some how the instructor told us we would all pass the written test as we would review all missed questions and learn the right answer at the end of the session turns out the State did NOT accept our entire class missed too many on the exam and now we have to sit to take the written exam again but we all passed the skills test on the bikes! So more stress!

      I'm so sorry to hear that. At least now you have a good knowledge of the questions that will be asked on the exam. Let me know how it goes. Thanks for watching.

    Ryker Mom, Thanks you for sharing your experience with the Can Am Course! I planning on taking the course within the next month. I'm a bite nervous about have to accomplish all of those skill. Did you feel nervous at the onset of the course and did the nervousness subside by the end of the course. Thanks again for sharing.

      I was a little nervous but excited too! I had no idea what to expect. The class size was small and the instructor takes into account that some students may have absolutely no previous experience on a motorcycle. The instructor even had us start off learning and practicing to turn on and off the ignition. When practicing the skills just take your time at first and then proceed at a greater speed when you feel more comfortable. The instructor will be watching and will provide feedback to help you improve. Try to get in as much practice as you can so definitely volunteer if the instructor asks if anyone would like to practice the skill again before moving on to the next one.
      After being on the motorcycle for a couple of rounds my nervousness did subside because driving the motorcycle and practicing many of those skills were actually quite enjoyable. I wish you all the best and let me know how your experience with the course was. Thanks for watching!

      @@Adventure-Mom Hello there, I know it's been a while, but I finally took the 3-wheel BRC this past weekend and passed with flying colors. The next step is the DMV to get the endorsement on my license followed by a purchase of a Spyder (RT Limited). My purchase may not take place until early next year. It took me a several hours today to locate your page again to say thank for your words of wisdom to my questions a year ago. Praying all is well with you and family. Ride safe and thanks again.

    I'm trying to learn how to ride a Ryker, am I forced to learn a Spyder? I'm going to purchase a Ryker.

    • @Adventure-Mom
      @Adventure-Mom  Před 2 lety +1

      No, they just did not have any Rykers available on this day. The Spyder was very easy to use as well. Thanks for Watching!

    Looks like a comprehensive course but they should have had a Ryker too .. was this for a 3 wheel license or just education?

    • @Adventure-Mom
      @Adventure-Mom  Před 3 lety

      I would have liked to practice on a Ryker but it was also fun trying out the Spyders. The course does entitle graduates to receive the endorsement on their license to ride a 3WMC. Upon completion with a passing grade you are given a certificate and the instructor inputs the information into the database used by the DMV. You must then go into the DMV to update your license so that the endorsement will show up on your license.

      Hi, I wanted to know will your license be to only ride a 3wheel motorcycle or will the endorsement be for both 2wheel and 3wheel motorcycle I am a little confused but thanks for the information 😊

    • @Adventure-Mom
      @Adventure-Mom  Před 3 lety

      Hello! For the State of Florida, the license endorsement for this course that I completed is for a 3-wheel motorcycle only. It may differ for other states. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.

      I just got back from my course in Hudson NC. I'm glad they did have Rykers there as that's what im interested in. They are in very short supply at the moment for some reason.

    What did you mean "shift into 2nd gear" , I thought the Can Am does not have gear shifting?

      Hello Brian, The Can Am Spyder does have gears but no clutch. The Ryker does not have any gears to change. During this training there were no Rykers available. Thanks for watching!
