Great Question!
In short: Yes, our flooring and our adhesives can be installed over a hydronic radiant heated subfloor, as long as the conditions described in our installation guides are met. The adhesive in this video is from our Urban Essentials Line, and is now called PRISM™ 3010 Firm Set Adhesive.

REMEMBER: ensuring stable job site conditions, subfloor suitability, and proper acclimation is the responsibility of the installer/owner. Refer to your radiant heat system manufacturer to determine its compatibility with our vinyl flooring/adhesives.

This is correct. No expansion gap is needed for GlueDown flooring. However, the issues you describe are common symptoms of poor subfloor treatment and unaddressed moisture issues.
It is for this reason that we have recently launched the Urban Essentials product line specifically to equip installers to address all these problems BEFORE the flooring goes down!
