@@ProvingChristianity so the LORD is one then. If it is one of the angels that appeared to Abraham. Two of them are not the LORD. Whenever Genesis uses interchangeably the Angel of The LORD and the LORD, it is because the Angel bears the name of God, it is not because the Angel is God. Therefore the Scriptures in the Old Testament related to this subject don’t prove Trinity. Trinity is humans trying to add their own tradition to the scriptures.

When it says Angel of the Lord in caps it's incarnation Jesus. This Angel of the Lord received worship and had the appearance of the Son of God. There is a difference between a angel and the Angel of the Lord. Great teaching Cory!

Yes!! "Angel of the LORD" with LORD in caps means Jehovah. Other mentions of Angel of the Lord where Lord is not in caps is referring to an angel ie Gabriel. LORD in caps is never used when describing Gabriel or other angels. It's a big difference that can be easily missed.

God Jehovah is so perfect , so powerful, that He has four perfect angels Seraphim which actually filter our imperfect prayers and make them suitable for presentation to God. The reason that Jesus dates clearly that “ No man has seen God “ and that he himself “ has explained Him” is because We are not capable of being in God’s presence except through the filter of His approved messengers. Jesus being The Word ( Logos) has served and continues to serve as the chief most representative of God to fallen humanity and likewise now serves as the Only Advocate for fallen but repentant humanity before God ( much like the High priest of Israel did before the Ark of the Covenant. In fact The very Voice of God was only heard on earth by living humans on Three occasions.

    The angel of the Lord
In Revelation 22:9, the angel of Jesus refuses worship but go on to speak of the Alpha and Omega. This style of speech shows the angel talks on behalf of Christ. It is Jesus who is Alpha and Omega, not his angel. Jesus has an angel close to Him and he sends that angel. In Hebrews 1:13, Paul writes that Jesus was not an angel, thus, concluding that the angel of the Lord is Jesus makes Him an angel. The angel of the Lord is an angel and Jesus is not an angel. If Jesus is the angel of the Lord, there is no room to have the physical presence of the angel when Christ is in the same picture: (i) The mystery of the angel of the Lord is seen when he appears when Jesus is born and he comes with the glory of the Lord (Luke 2:9), (ii) the angel of the Lord warning Joseph in dreams (Matthew 2:13), and (iii) the angel of the Lord descending from heaven when Jesus resurrected (Matthew 28:2). If Jesus is the angel of the Lord, how does he appear in the same scene as a baby and an angel? It's not possible.
Here is another mystery, Peter knew Jesus and when the angel of the Lord came, he could have called him Jesus but he didn't (Acts 12:7). Jesus is not the angel of the Lord. In Acts 8:26, the angel of the Lord also speaks to Phillip and there is no record of anyone seeing Jesus except Paul alone on the road to Damascus.
In the Old Testament, the angel of the Lord appears in Zechariah 3:3-6 and he goes on to quote the words of the Lord of hosts. The words the angel receives are not His but from God. This is much visible when Moses saw the burning bush. In Exodus 3:2-4, the angel of the Lord appeared to Moses in a flame of fire then the Lord sees that Moses has turned aside and calls him. This angel stands in the presence of God. Gabriel struck Zacharias with deafness and Gabriel stands in the presence of the Lord. Jesus has an angel, who is that angel? That angel is Gabriel. Jesus is not an angel and never was. An angel is angel. Jesus is Yahweh the Lord, not the angel of the Lord.
Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. Revelation 22:9.......... I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Revelation 22:13............ I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. Revelation 22:16.
But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Hebrews 1:13.
And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. Luke 2:9.
And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him. Matthew 2:13.
And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. Matthew 28:2.
And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. Acts 12:7.
And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert. Acts 8:26.
And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying, Zechariah 3:6, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by. Zechariah 3:7.
And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. Exodus 3:2, and And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. Exodus 3:4.
And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings. Luke 1:19.

With everything you’ve said, you’ve missed the mark quite a bit. Even in our KJV, a clear distinction between “an angel (of the LORD)” and THE ANGEL OF THE LORD. Those entities are not the same. If you read passages that have the latter, you’ll see how that entity always receiving worship (which should only be ascribed to God) while angels refuse worship.
P.S: the angel in Rev 22:9 is not The Angel of the Lord; it is ‘an angel’; while it can seem like every appearance of an angel is the same throughout Scripture, based on what happens when they show up or what they say, we can make clear distinctions.

You can’t get more clear than that, the angel directly saying that he’s God to Jacob. That’s also why later on Jacob says God was the Angel who redeemed him, because he had already revealed it to him. But that’s why it’s important to also look at other places where the angel of the Lord reveals himself as God.
Judges 2:1- And an angel of the Lord came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you.

The term theophany was introduced to succinctly describe the manifest presence of God to men in the old testament.
The angel of the Lord is a prime example, there are also others that are no less than marvelous.
There is Melchizedek, Priest of the Most High God.
Among the three men that appeared to Abraham, two were angels, the other was Almighty God, Jesus Christ.
In the new testament we have God manifested to men, in an body made like unto men, Emanuel, or God with us. This is Jesus the Christ of God.
Great is the mystery of godliness, God was manifest in the flesh, seen of men, received up into glory.
    This was not a theophany.

Am I hearing that right, the "the angel of the Lord" is God ? How can God be his own creator ? Angels (Hebrew malakh, Greek aggelos that literally means "messenger") are that which is created, those who carry out his word, and NOT the Creator.
How many have read Psalms 103:20, 21, that says: "Praise Jehovah (God's name, see Isa 12:2, KJV), all you HIS angels, mighty in power, who carry out HIS word, obeying his voice. Praise Jehovah, all his armies, HIS ministers who do HIS will."
Psalms 104:1, 4 says: "Let me praise Jehovah. O Jehovah my God, you are very great. With majesty and splendor you are clothed. He makes his angels (invisible) spirits, His ministers a consuming fire (that have superhuman powers)".
At Isaiah 37, when King Sennacherib of Assyria was threatening Jerusalem with "conquest" (Isa 37:9-13), King Hezekiah of the two tribe kingdom of Judah prayed to Jehovah, saying: "O Jehovah of armies, the God of Israel, sitting enthroned above the cherubs (or angels that stand near before Jehovah, angels of high rank, see Luke 1:19), you ALONE are the true God of all the kingdoms of the earth."
"You made the heavens and the earth. Incline your ear, O Jehovah, and hear ! Open your eyes, O Jehovah, and see! Hear all the words that Sen·nachʹer·ib has sent to taunt the living God........But now, O Jehovah our God, save us out of his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you alone are God, O Jehovah.”(Isa 37:16, 17, 20)
How did Jehovah respond to Hezekiah's plea for protection ? Isaiah 37:33-36 states:"Therefore this is what Jehovah says about the king of As·syrʹi·a: “He will not come into this city or shoot an arrow there or confront it with a shield or cast up a siege rampart against it."
"By the way he came he will return; He will not come into this city,’ declares Jehovah. ‘ I will defend this city and save it for my own sake and for the sake of my servant David." And the angel of Jehovah went out and struck down 185,000 men in the camp of the As·syrʹi·ans. When people rose up early in the morning, they saw all the dead bodies."
But there is one angel that spoke as if he was Jehovah God, as his premier representative, as "the Word" or chief spokesman, and this angel is Jesus Christ, who is also called "a god" and NOT "the God" at John 1:1. At Exodus 3, when Moses was shepherding some sheep at Mt Sinai or Horeb, the account says: "Then Jehovah’s angel appeared to him in a flame of fire in the midst of a thornbush. As he kept looking, he saw that the thornbush was on fire, and yet the thornbush was not consumed."
"So Moses said: “I will go over to inspect this unusual sight to see why the thornbush does not burn up.” When Jehovah saw that he went over to look, God called to him out of the thornbush and said: “Moses ! Moses !” to which he said: “Here I am.” Then he said: “Do not come any nearer. Remove your sandals from your feet, because the place where you are standing is holy ground.”(Ex 3:2-5)
How many have read what the apostle Paul wrote at 1 Corinthians 10, that says: "Now I want you to know, brothers, that our forefathers were all under the cloud and all passed through the sea and all got baptized into Moses by means of the cloud and of the sea, and all ate the same spiritual food and all drank the same spiritual drink (during their 40 year trek in the wilderness, see Ps 95:10)). For they used to drink from the spiritual rock (or angel) that followed them (see Ex 14:19), and that rock meant the Christ" ?(1 Cor 10:1-4)
So, Jesus is Jehovah's "messenger of the covenant" at Malachi 3:1, Jehovah's "personal messenger" at Isaiah 63:9, the angel who materialized and spoke to David at 2 Samuel 7:18-29, who humbled himself and became a man of flesh and blood (see Phil 2:7, 8) in order to become "the last Adam" (1 Cor 15:45), replacing the original Adam as obedient mankind's "Eternal Father" (Isa 9:6), so that "when the full limit of the time arrived, God sent his Son, who was born of a woman and who was under law, that he might release by purchase those under law (or the Jews), so that we might receive the adoption as sons."(Gal 4:4, 5)

Missing the whole point. Jesus is eternal and was called The Angel of the Lord in the old testament. Not a creation but the Creator. Jesus has different names. Everlasting Father, Prince of peace, Son of God...

Jesus is NOT eternal but had a beginning, as Revelation 2:18 and 3:14 shows: "To the angel of the congregation in Thy·a·tiʹra write: These are the things that the Son of God says.......To the angel of the congregation in La·o·di·ceʹa write: These are the things that the Amen says (see 2 Cor 1:20), the faithful and true witness (see Rev 1:5), the beginning ("beginning", Greek arche meaning: "properly a commencement") of the creation by God."
And have you not read Colossians 1:13-16: "He (God, whose name is Jehovah, see Isa 12:2, KJV) rescued us from the authority of the darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of his beloved Son, by means of whom we have our release by ransom, the forgiveness of our sins."
"He (Jesus Christ) is the image ("image", Greek eikon, meaning "a likeness, i.e. a statue, profile, representation, resemblance") of the invisible God, the FIRSTBORN of all creation; because by means of him all other things were created in the heavens and on the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities."
Proverbs 8 also shows that Jesus is "the beginning of the creation by God", saying: "Jehovah produced ("produced", Hebrew qanah meaning "to erect, i.e. create, to procure") me (Jesus Christ) as the beginning of his way, the earliest ("earliest", Hebrew qedem meaning "the front, of place or time") of his achievements of long ago."
"From ancient times I was installed ("installed", Hebrew nacak meaning "to pour out, by analogy, to anoint a king"), from the start, from times earlier ("earlier", Hebrew ro'sh meaning "the head, of place, time, rank") than the earth. When there were no deep waters, I was brought forth, when there were no springs overflowing with water."
"Before the mountains were set in place, before the hills, I was brought forth, when he had not yet made the earth and its fields.......When he prepared the heavens, I was there........When he established the foundations of the earth, then I was beside him as a master worker ("master worker", Hebrew amon meaning "skilled, i.e. an architect")."
"I was the one he was especially fond of day by day (as Jehovah's "only-begotten Son", John 3:16, in which to begat means "to be the father of a child"); I rejoiced before him all the time; I rejoiced over his habitable earth, and I was especially fond of the sons of men."(Prov 8:22-31)
And have not read 2 Corinthians 1:3, that says: "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ", as well as Ephesians 1:3 that says: "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ", as well as 1 Peter 1:3 that says: "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ", establishing Jesus as having a father, Jehovah God, a beginning, for he often called on Jehovah as his (and our) heavenly Father, saying:
"I publicly praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intellectual ones and have revealed them to young children. Yes, O Father, because this is the way you approved."
"All things have been handed over ("handed over", Greek paradidomi meaning "to surrender, i.e. yield up") to me by my Father, and no one fully knows the Son except the Father; neither does anyone fully know the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son is willing to reveal him."(Matt 11:25-27)
And at Isaiah 9:6, Jesus is called "Everlasting Father", because it is through his ransom sacrifice that obedient mankind will receive everlasting life, with Jesus having replaced the original Adam as obedient mankind's "father", for 1 Corinthians 15:45 states: "So it is written (at Gen 2:7): “The first man Adam became a living person.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit."
As a "life-giving spirit", Jesus will apply his perfect shed blood in behalf of those who exercise faith in it, as 1 John 1:7 says that "if we are walking in the light as he (Jesus Christ) himself is in the light, we do have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin."
So, Jesus is NOT eternal as in having no beginning, but rather Jesus will be obedient mankind's "Eternal Father", as Romans 3:23-25 states: "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and it is as a free gift that they are being declared righteous by his undeserved kindness through the release by the ransom paid by Christ Jesus. God presented him as an offering for propitiation (or a sacrifice that covers obedient one's sins) through faith in his blood."
And yes, Jesus was called "the angel of his presence" at Isaiah 63:9 (King James Bible), as Jehovah's "personal messenger" (New World Translation), because Jesus is "the Word", or Jehovah's chief spokesman (John 1:1), and was the angel or created being, that released the Israelites from Egyptian slavery and led them through the 40 year trek in the wilderness.(1 Cor 10:1-4)

It is obvious that you have NOT read your Bible carefully, for at Colossians 1, the apostle Paul wrote: "He (God) rescued us from the authority of the darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of his beloved Son (Jesus Christ), by means of whom we have our release by ransom (Matt 20:28), the forgiveness of our sins (1 John 1:7). He (Jesus Christ) is the image ("image", Greek eikon, meaning "a likeness, .i.e. statue, profile, representation, resemblance") of the invisible God (John 14:9), the firstborn of all creation."(Col 1:13-15)
At Revelation 2:18, the apostle John writes: "To the angel of the congregation in Thy·a·tiʹra write: These are the things that the Son of God says, the one who has eyes like a fiery flame and whose feet are like fine copper." Then at chapter 3, Jesus now says:
"The one who conquers-I (Jesus Christ) will make him a pillar in the temple of MY God, and he will by no means go out from it anymore, and I will write upon him the name of MY God and the name of the city of my God, the New Jerusalem that descends out of heaven from my God, and my own new name."
"Let the one who has an ear hear what the spirit says to the congregations.’ To the angel of the congregation in La·o·di·ceʹa write: These are the things that the Amen (Jesus Christ, see 2 Cor 1:20) says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God."(Rev 3:12-14)
At John 20, on the morning of his resurrection, Jesus told Mary Magdalene, who grabbed hold of Jesus when she recognized he was alive: "Stop clinging to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to MY Father and your Father and to MY God and your God."(John 20:17)
At 1 Cor 11:3, the apostle Paul wrote: "But I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; in turn, the head of a woman is the man; in turn, the HEAD of the Christ is God." At Proverbs 8:22, 23, Jesus says concerning being God's "wisdom":
"Jehovah (God's name, see Isa 12:2, KJV) produced ("produced", Hebrew qanah, meaning "to erect, i.e. create, to procure") me as the beginning ("beginning", Hebrew re'shiyth, meaning "the first, in place, time, order or rank"; see Gen 1:1, which "in the beginning" or be re'shiyth) of his way, the earliest ("earliest", Hebrew qedem, meaning "the front, of place (absolutely the fore part) or time") of his achievements of long ago. From ancient times I was installed, from the start ("start", Hebrew ro'sh, meaning "the head, of place, time, rank, etc), from times earlier than the earth."
And at John 6:56, 57, Jesus told the obstinate Jews: "Whoever (symbolically) feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood remains in union with me, and I in union with him. Just as the living Father sent me ("sent me" Greek apostello, meaning "to send out on a mission") and I live because of the Father (or through the Father I am alive, just as we all are alive because we have a father), so also the one who feeds on me will live because of me (or through me, when they exercise faith in Jesus, see John 3:16)."
At 2 Corinthians 1:3, the apostle Paul wrote:"Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort". At Ephesians 1:3, Paul wrote: "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for he has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in union with Christ".
And at 1 Peter 1:3, the apostle Peter wrote: "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for according to his great mercy he gave us a new birth to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead."
So, Jesus has a father, Jehovah, had a beginning, is Jehovah's firstborn. It is Jehovah God that is "from everlasting to everlasting", having had no beginning.(Ps 90:2) It is the "weeds" or counterfeit Christians of Christendom that has taught (or lied) that Jesus is God.(Matt 13:24-30) So, it is Christendom that are the heretics.(see Acts 24:5, in which the apostle Paul was wrongly called a "heretic" or "the spearhead of the SECT of the Nazarenes")

Jesus is an angel, that was created by Jehovah God, for at Galatians 4:14, the apostle Paul wrote: "And though my physical condition was a trial for you (the Galatian Christians), you did not treat me with contempt or disgust; but you received me like an angel of God, like Christ Jesus."
At Luke 8, a demon cried out to Jesus when he was about to be expelled from a man they possessed: "What have I to do with you, Jesus, Son of the Most High God ? I beg you, do not torment me."(Luke 8:26-28) So, Jesus is Jehovah's "only-begotten Son" (John 3:16), an angel or his "personal messenger", "angel of his presence" (Isa 63:9, KJV), "Son of the Most High", Jehovah God.(see Ps 83:18)

The angel of the Lord is not the Lord. He is the Lord's personal messenger and spokesman and has the authority to speak and act directly for the Lord.
Matt 1:20 and 2:13, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph after Jesus had been conceived and then after He had been born. He would not be then appearing at the same time to Joseph in a dream as the angel of the Lord.

The deception that Satan uses is to change names and terminology. This causes confusion. The word angel means messenger in Hebrew. The title Lord was used to replace the name YAHWEH by the spirit of Satan. It was YAHWEH WHO appeared to Hagar and Moses. YAHWEH is the MESSENGER of the Covenant who came as YAHSHUA (JESUS). YAHWEH MEANS "Everlasting " (I Am). YAHSHUA means Everlasting Saviour.
This is what the churches do not understand because Satan has blinded the eyes of people by removing inspired names out of the bible and creating fake images of CHRIST (ANOINTED ONE) YAHWEH IS YAHSHUA THE ANOINTED WORD OF GOD.
YAHWEH became flesh and tabernacled with HIS People.
YAHWEH IS THE LOGOS (expression/communicator) of the GODHEAD.
HE came and dwelt amongst HIS people.
To have a relationship with HIM, repent, turn away from sin, love HIM, and obey HIM. This is what HE Said. This is what believe really means. Believe what the eternal God said, through HIS word.
