Cher and Tina's friendship was over 50 years long. To fly overseas and see a friend who's sick as she was, shows how much they meant to each other
Yeap, really true!
Cher helped her...people didn't want to touch Tina after the divorce...
🙏🙏🙏
What a time time alive. The 1970s had amazing variety shows where eclectic talent could come together like this.
this set design is insane in the best way
RIP Tina Turner. You were loved globally, thank you for that beautiful strong voice.
I've never met a person that didn't love Tina.
Look up videos of Judge Joe Brown and Arsenio Hall talking about Tina Turner. Apparently, she was so pleasant to be to around all the time. Elton John also had a spat with her. She was also estranged from her family for many years. Tina was a talented, strong and vocal woman but she was also spiteful and knew how to manipulate the press to her advantage.
@@samrindge8042 Elton John is not know for his kindness.
I'm totally gobsmacked! 😲 My grandfather's first cousin was Kate Smith, and I had no idea until today that she got to sing with Tina & Cher! ☄️ That's fantastic! My cousin singing with two of the biggest legends in rock. 🥰💚
She kind of out sings them as well. What a voice!
Conversely, Tina and Cher got to sing with Kate. The First Lady of Radio who had both radio and tv shows in her own name.
That's a distant cousin, but a relation anyway. Now this may blow your mind, Kate Smith & I talked in/at SFA in 1975. I was age 20/21.
Kate Smith was the greatest! Loved this!
Kate smith is a legend to.
Wow....look at Kate Smith rockin' out there! She sounds great!
Yes!!!! Thank you Cher!
We'll miss you😢 RIP. Youve done so much. You may now rest. Youre the greatest.😢
😢😢😢❤❤❤
Très triste de ton départ Tina!
Tu es mon idole inconditionnelle.
Love.
Léonard
All three with good strong voices. Perfect trio.
Kate Smith is a revelation to me here. I had only known her for famous "God Bless America" rendition. Her voice blends in perfectly here.
Kate Smith.... what a singer!!
The Cher Show was one of the few joys of my childhood
I remember her show as well. ❤
was it in the late 1970s?
@@foreverlalala mid
@@gracejones2831 so.. almost 50years ago.. and to think that Tina Turner could have been performing still if she hadn't fallen ill😪
Kate Smith power vocals in "Let it Be."
A time of true talent.. No cheap tricks or special effects..Just pure talent 100% all the way.!!!!
Yes! Kate Smith with Cher and Tina!? A Mazing!
This is surreal, I’m pleasantly surprised to see Kate Smith there. It was quite fun to watch!
Another fun vintage surprise trio is Diana Ross, Dinah Shore and Lucille Ball on the 1969 show Like Hep!
The Goddess of Pop, The Queen of Rock & Roll & The Songbird of The South 👑
Tina Turner is also the "Acid Queen".
@@RaymondHng dude that's not the dis you think it is. If her husband Ike hadn't got her hooked on drugs and physically abused her throughout their whole marriage she wouldn't have been called that. Plus a lot of singers and celebrities were doing a lot of drugs in the 60's & 70's including white men and groups but are you going around and pointing out that any of them were drug addicts or is it just black women you like to degrade by pointing out their tragic addiction with no other content!!!
Can't get over how stunning Cher looked back then. Literally a show-stopper.
Cher's little dance around the 2 min mark is so sexy it hurts
@@roywalker5898 And she's so gracefully feminine ... I need a time machine
This feels like it's from some alternative world where people experienced actual joy. Maybe something to keep in mind going forward.
As a hard Beatles' fan this is amazing. Covers like this are really hard to find: Cher, Tina and a pleasant surprise from me Ms. Smith
I wasn't even born in this era but I'd give anything to live through it. It looked so beautiful
I was a teenager throughout the 70s and ... it was beautiful!! Makes me feel sad watching this now in 2023.
somehow music was more authentic and people were kinder... that's how I remember such a beautiful era 🙂
HASN'T CHER MADE OUR WORLD FUN !! THANK YOU !! I LOVE YOU 💘💗♥💓💛💖💘
She sure has !!!!! 💕💕🎶🎶🥰🥰
Oh my! I love Cher and Tina, but Kate's voice makes all my hair stand on end! Miss her.
What an amazing medley which showcases the distinctive voices of each of these women! Wow--who would have thought that Kate's voice could be blended with the likes of Tina and Cher!?!
I can't believe Cher is almost 80.
Imagine if I had died without having seen this.
the holy trinity of pop... one of the best performances by our Goddess Cher and Tina Tunner
Kate Smith swinging her mic @ 3:56!!😂
Incredibly fantastic. Watched Kate Smith show when I was a kid. She ended every show singing the Star Spangled Banner. It was wonderful. And you just can't get any better than Tina & Cher. God bless the three of them!
Cher, Tina Turner and Kate Smith - singing the Beatles! Now that came out of left field. I had to click on this one.
First off, the Seventies were awesome! And Tina Turner's smile on stage is just so damn infectious. Instant connection with the audience. As a kid, I knew KS from watching the Flyers games on TV, I knew she had a big voice. Still has it here. Must have been tough to be up there with the two younger ladies, and singing music that wasn't her style, but she hung in there like a pro.
This was fun to watch. Thanks for posting it. The Cher Show, and the S and C Show were great. Fond memories watching both as a kid.
Yep. I watched it when it aired in 1975. I thought "why in the world is the 'Acid Queen' paired up with Kate Smith? Tina is wildly dancing like a rock singer while Kate is just swaying in the wind."
Actually, as weird as this combination might seem, Kate didn't want to be stuck in the past and liked to do modern songs. I'm sure she wasn't forced to do this, but participated enthusiastically. And her voice is still really strong in this too. She does fine, and holds her own with the other two.
@@hebneh 👍Good to know.
So much fun!!!@
This is Women's The Beatles ! 👍😀
Fun fact, almost every song sounds better when Cher sings it. She’s a national treasure
I've never seen this before,+I love it.🎤🎶💃Rest in Peace Tina Turner 😢💔Sadly missed already.🙏😢
RIP Tina Turner (1939-2023)
RIP Kate Smith
Love this. Kate really got into it. She had a powerful voice!
Kate's version of The Impossible Dream is amazing
@@anthonyb1752 She was on the Smoothers Brothers TV show in the late 60's and sang "Easy To Be Hard, one of the power anthems from Hair, then on Broadway. Nobody ever did it more powerfully, with more feeling than Kate.
I heard of her but I never heard her sing before. I knew she had a strong voice.
@@vincentruvo6988 She was a star on Broadway before actors had body microphones. Her voice easily reached the last row in the top balcony!
@@mickjr270 Just like Ethel Merman?
Big fan of Tina. Love her songs. RIP Tina.
Whomever arranged this medley was spot on. All 3 legends had great vocal control
What a strange combo! Kudos to each for this collab and solidarity.
I love you Cher ❤️
This looks like just so much fun. It’s rare to see performers let themselves go so much and just purely enjoy every second of a performance 😊😊😊 Amazing!!!!
Great!! A long awaited one!! This was one of the best finales of a Cher Show episode! I'm grateful we are getting these rare clips!
I hope this video explodes with views and likes. Very well deserved for these awesome artists. CHER TO THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME!

Simply the best..
Wonderful video of 3 musical icons celebrating the Beatles. You can see the bond of friendship between Cher and Tina Turner. They seemed to be Kindred spirits.
Cher herself said exactly that, she visited Tina Turner regularly up until her sad passing. RIP Tina...
Why do I feel like Kate is the grand mother out to watch Cher and Tina shake their tail feather? haha! Three amazing voices all together. Love it!
Какие они красивые и как поют великолепно❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉💫💫💫💫💥💥💥💥💯💯💯👍👍👍👍👍
Never seen Kate Smith like this -i like it!!!!!
The Great Kate never disappoints.
How can you wrong with Cher and Tina Turner.... all 3 ladies living legends while they could enjoy it
and rightfully deserved.
Absolutely every day I listen to this music in the shower before going to work and I spend the whole day happy! Thanks Cher!!! Goddess ❤
Kate Smith is rocking that back combed hair and that dress !!
Is really nice to see Kate Smith looking so cool for her age in '75
i never saw a woman so beautiful like Cher.

Moments like this only happens once 💖✨!
Three Strong woman with voices that will sing through the ages forever.
3 fantastic performers singing fantastic songs. Memories. R.I.P. Kate & Tina... miss you ladies.
I think living in the 70s was such a great time! Hope I can time travel and see these icons
that was a happy show for times of happiness and hope.🙂
No conocía a Kate Smith, ahora sé que fue una gran cantante de los años '30-' 40, una voz espectacular.
Famously chosen One of my favorites, brilliantly vocalized by These Amazing Legends Together 😄🎶💖💖
3 great voices: all unique and special in their own way.
I grew up listening to Cher and Tina as a kid in the 80s but Kate Smith was a bit before my time......listening to this ....she was amazing!
FINALLY the whole Medley..... Thank you @Cher ❤❤❤❤❤
History made: TINA & CHER (the best duo ever) and the Legendary KATE SMITH 😻🤩
This sort of thing just doesn't exist anymore. Three of the best singers EVER sharing on stage without ego issues. Brilliant.
I cannot take my eyes and ears off of this, and I cant wipe the smile off from my face.
I like the Beatles music so much, I even enjoy them being covered by anyone.
This is so awesome! To just see the 3 of them singing together and enjoying themselves and not trying to out-sing each other and compete like you see a lot today when singers do a duet or sing in a group! Lovely!! 😍❤💕
The trio you never knew you wanted. Awesome.
Absolutely Fabulous to have all three of these ladies and one gentleman together on stage.
That was Tim Conway.
I can’t thank Cher enough for this channel and posting these wonderful videos. I’m crying and smiling at the same time.
Cher has been so meaningful in my life for the longest time and not just for her music.
I have to use this platform to just simply say THANK YOU for sharing your life with the world. You are a strong, beautiful, talented and caring person. I know your life has not been perfect but you continued to give and continue to worked so hard. ❤🎉😂😢😊

Wow amazing I remember as a little girl watching the Sonny & Cher show my mother would never miss that🥰👀🎤🎵📺💯
Gotta love the 1970s! I remember watching this episode of the "Cher" show!

As a 34 year old that since I was a child has found music from my parents era the best ❤
This is a very happy performance. The singers themselves are having fun☺️
THIS IS A GEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You may never see anything like this ever again!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing this.
It’s cool seeing Kate Smith sing outside of her genre. Tim Conway is also hysterical!
I love this clip!. In the early 70's at college keggers and dance parties in an apartment shared with three buddies I'd put on Kate Smith singing God Bless America which meant it was time for everyone to go home. Kate's lion of a voice cleared the place.
What an absolute treat! I remember this! I was young, but I didn’t miss Cher if I didn’t have to. Cher, Tina and Kate Smith…. Oh the good old days, THIS was entertainment! Thank you for sharing, I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this!
Cher's show never aired in my country, and I'm seeing/hearing some of these for the first time.
And they're so glorious😊😊😊
I've never seen this clip before and I've never heard Kate Smith sing anything other than "God Bless America." This is rare.
So Jolly , I love This wonderful medley, Legends supercharge, Let it be is my favorite song 🤗
Love these beautiful ladies and beautiful gentleman (Tim Conway)❤️😊🙏✌️😎
R.I.P. Tina Turner 😭
The last 2 minutes made my eye tears with nostalgia about my grandparents whom I lived with when I was a kid. Yesterday was my Grandma birthday, and my grandpa death anniversary is in 3 days, so to find this and watch it just took me to a very happy place, thank you.
These ladies blended surprising well! Kate looked great!
Cher & Tina are exactly as amazing as I knew they would be with this material, but it was Kate Smith who really surprised me. It's kinda like Snoop & Martha. It's so ridiculous that it actually works.
agree whole heartedly
what did I stumble into!!!
Love them all..Rip Tina
There's nothing better than Cher. I love you!!!
3:55 Look at Kate Smith twirling her mic.
Kate Smith slaying it at 68 here.
Divas 1970s watching the replay. Missed the first 5 minutes 😪 😢 😫 😩 😔 😕 singing divas🎼🎵🎶🎙🎙🎙🎸🎷🥁
It's so wonderful! Marvelous happy rendition of good music! Thanks!
