The man was absolutely class for City; a match winner, and deserved his big money move to Chelsea (who were the best side in the country at the time), it’s just unfortunate that he wasn’t used correctly when he was there and his peak should have lasted longer than it did, I don’t think he gets spoken about as much because of that

    SHAUNY WRIGHT WRIGHT WRIGHT!
    SHAUNY WRIGHT WRIGHT WRIGHT!
Shaun is a City legend and one of my all time favourites. He was so good in the 01/02 season when we got promoted under Kevin Keegan. He played as a wingback throughout that season and was tremendous. I'm sure he knows a lot of his early development is down to the way KK played him. Really kick started his career. His son D'margio is 18 and is in our U18s team. Last season he played 22 scored 4 with 11 assists. Unfortunately he hasn't played as much this season and had been loaned out to Blackburn U18s. He scored and helped them destroy Arsenal U18s with a 4-1 win in th FA Youth Cup QF's. I fear he won't be coming through and playing for City like his dad did, which is sad 😢 But it's a different club now and it's obviously much more difficult getting into the first team. Hopefully we can keep him at the club as long as possible 🙏
