    That shower basin is janky and ingenious at the same time! Really awesome. I couldn't tell the sink was a bowl until you pointed it out. Really, really cool. :)

      Great! I really like this setup. I joke that I am going to set it up outside my house and use it instead of my bathroom shower. You could probably just get the little bicker heater and sprayer and put it in a bucket of water. Let me know how it works for you. Thanks for watching!

      @@CampItClub I’ve been using this setup for about a week. Considering the fact that I’ve been taking cold water showers since June, this is welcome addition. 104 degrees is perfect. Takes about 15 minutes in a 5 gallon bucket. Also, I think 5 gallons is the perfect amount for a decent shower along with wash down of the walls once complete. Again, I truly appreciate your video. I went from chilly New England cold showers to instant warmth. Thank you very much.

      I really like it, I couldn't believe how nice my shower was with this setup. Even if there is a bath house close by, to use something you create yourself is kinda fun. And, if you don't want to use it for a shower, you could put a porta potty in it. Thanks for watching!

    Your water heater system looks great if you're camping where there is power available, but if you go somewhere more primitive, check out the Mr Heater basecamp shower. It runs off propane and has a built in shower pump
    We set ours on a 55 gallon plastic barrel next to our Texsport shower shelter.

    • @CampItClub
      @CampItClub  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks, yeah, you do need power for this to work. I considered something like the Mr Heater, but didn't want to spend that much for something I might not need to use much. We normally camp at campgrounds that have showers anyway, this was just a "for fun" thing. Thanks for watching!

    How does it hold up as far as privacy is concerned? What I mean is if you have to use the toilet at night and take a lamp inside are you able to fully distinguish a person sitting on a toilet from the outside? A persons silhouette. I have a cheap knock off brand 2 room shower tent that is very very bad and you can fully distinguish in detail a person silhouette when using the toilet or shower. It does not have the usual silver lining on the inside

    • @CampItClub
      @CampItClub  Před rokem +1

      That is a good question, really not sure. I imagine it would be like any other tent. Don’t think the material is anything special. It would probably be ok if you used just a small battery operated light that isn’t really bright, but I don’t know for sure either way, never used it at night. You could probably put some sort of tarp up on the bathroom side, that should hide things.
