    What do you use for a bathroom/shower solution in your setup? If you've seen past videos, this tent weathered a thunderstorm without the tiedowns as well. It's a very sturdy tent!

      How much does that cost

      @@ryancrain8777 We paid $150 at Walmart. I looked this morning and it is just over $100 now. Pretty good deal if you were thinking of getting one!

    Great review. I went looking for info on how to collapse our Caddis Sports 2-room privacy shelter. It's frame is identical, although the tent is somewhat different. Like another viewer commented, It's hard to figure out how to take it down. Now I know.

    Silly question does the solar bag heat the water in cold climates as well?

    • @TheEscapeShroomPerspective
      @TheEscapeShroomPerspective  Před rokem +1

      We didn't get into colder camping, so I'm not sure how that would work. I would assume the air temperature would cool it down too much though.

    Question what about taking showers in Sequoia/King canyons how not to have soap polluting nature or what's the best way for the water ? For showering
    Or any national park how to deal with this soap so it won't harm the environment ?

    • @TheEscapeShroomPerspective
      @TheEscapeShroomPerspective  Před 2 lety +2

      We had a plastic tub we used for dishes and stood in that to catch the water and soap. Then, we took that to the pit toilet to dump it. Some parks had a dishwashing station and we could dump the water there. If you're boondocking, I would think an environmental safe soap would be fine.

      @@TheEscapeShroomPerspective yeah I think pretty hard to find environmentally friendly soap but thanks for the recommendation on how to save the water and dump it properly 👍🏻

    I just bought one of these to use with my camplux tankless hot water heater, and I'm so disappointed that there is not an inlet. How did you end up using your tankless hot water shower with this shower tent?

    • @TheEscapeShroomPerspective
      @TheEscapeShroomPerspective  Před rokem +1

      We ended up only using it with the shower bag that came with it. As I mentioned in the video, the only way to get the hose in is to zip it into the door near the top. If you were good at sewing, you could certainly make a hole in the top screen for the hose as well since the rain tarp would cover it.

    I bought a cheapo 2 room shower tent from OfferUp but it’s kinda thin walled and you can see the silhouette of the person just a little to good. Is this the case with this model or is it more private?

    • @TheEscapeShroomPerspective
      @TheEscapeShroomPerspective  Před 2 lety

      We did not notice any silhouette when we used it. The material is quite thick. I imagine if you had a light inside the tent at night you would have this issue though.

    Is it sturdy enough for winter usage(

      I don't think I would use it in freezing temps for showering! If it's just for a changing tent though, it might work. We never tested it down past 45 degrees.

    Does it keep rain from getting in?

    • @TheEscapeShroomPerspective
      @TheEscapeShroomPerspective  Před rokem

      Yes, it did as well as any tent would. We did have a thunderstorm where water did get in, but it wasn't a huge deal as it wasn't much and it's made for water and it dried quickly.

    Are these poles plastic or metal?

    • @TheEscapeShroomPerspective
      @TheEscapeShroomPerspective  Před 2 lety +1

      The main supports are a light metal like aluminum. There are two side top supports that are plastic.

      Thanks! That makes it an easy choice over the ones on Amazon which I believe are plastic!
